Cardi B says carrying out community service has changed her perspective on life
Cardi B has said that carrying out community service has changed her perspective on life.
The musician took to Twitter to talk about how she has been getting on with her community service.
She said she has been on a "spiritual journey" since carrying it out, after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges in September over a 2018 strip club fight.
Taking to her social media page, Cardi B wrote: "Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever."
Fans replied supporting the star, with one writing: "It’s always good to find light out of dark times."

While one fan called her "an inspiration".
Cardi B was given community service after resolving the August 2018 battery case in September 2022 by pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges while ten other counts, including two felonies, were dismissed.
Two co-defendants also pleaded guilty.
Cardi B's statement following the sentence said: "As a mother, it's a practice that I am trying to instill in my children, but the example starts with me. I've made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to. These moments don't define me and they are not reflective of who I am now.
"I'm looking forward to moving past this situation with my family and friends and getting back to the things I love the most—the music and my fans."
The 30-year-old reported to court last month after failing to complete a 15-day community service sentence as part of her plea deal, but a judge later extended the deadline to March 1.
Ahead of her first day of community service, she tweeted: "My brains are burning from waking up early, community service then studio….but I did the crime 'I only have myself to blame.'"
