Amy Walsh's sister Kimberley gave her an incredibly moving wedding present

Amy Walsh has revealed her sister, Kimberley, gave her a heartfelt present when she got hitched to EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith.

Amy, 36, and Toby, 32, said 'I do' in Montenegro in a lavish ceremony surrounded by their friends and family, including Girls Aloud star, Kimberley, 41. To celebrate their little sister's big day, mum-of-three Kimberley and sibling Sally gave Amy incredibly moving gifts as she started married life with the father of her daughter, Bonnie, 20 months.

Admitting she hadn't thought about the 'something borrowed, something blue' tradition for brides-to-be, Amy said: " Sally gave me her garter from her wedding day, which has some blue on it, and my sister Kimberley gave me the ring she inherited from my grandma. She wears it every day and it epitomises my grandma. I wore it on my little finger so I had my grandma and grandad with me on the day, which was amazing.”

Amy also revealed Kimberley lent her a pair of Chanel earrings, explaining they were just what she'd been looking for. She shared: "Again, Kimberley lent me her Chanel earrings, which were amazing. I’d seen her wearing them one day and told her ‘oh I’ve been looking for something like that for the wedding’. Then on the day she gave me them to wear," reports OK! magazine.

Kimberley and sister Sally, who is also an actress, were two of Amy’s six bridesmaids - joining cousins Leonie and Joelle, and “best friends for life” Sarah and Kim. The bride squad made sure the mum-of-one had everything she needed as she tied the knot with her beau, who she's been dating for three years.

The couple met in the audience at Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 and struck up a relationship a year later before welcoming their daughter, Bonnie, in 2021. The former Gray Atkins actor popped the question last year, sharing a selfie of the pair to show off Amy's engagement ring with the caption: "So this happened". Amy also took to her Instagram page to share three snaps of their Ibiza trip with the caption: "Before During. After."

The pair decided to get hitched at the stunning Talici Hill Rustic Villa in Montenegro and exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony in front of their family and friends, including Emmerdale stars Natalie Ann Jamieson, Olivia Bromley, and Louisa Clein. Amy, who looked gorgeous in a strapless ivory satin gown with lace detail, walked down the aisle with her brother and dad, John. Opening up about how proud she was to be walked down the aisle by her father, who has terminal cancer, the actress shared: "He knows he only has a certain amount of time left, so it was important for him to be there."
