Kelly Osbourne admits taking post baby weight loss 'a little too far'
Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her post-baby weight loss, discussing her feelings after she gave birth to her first child in 2022.
Appearing on the Scheananigans podcast Kelly was complimented by host Scheana Shay for her slim figure after she welcomed baby Sidney with Slipknot musician Sid Wilson in 2022. Kelly, 38, admitted she had been "on a mission after having the baby to lose all my baby weight.”
However, she went on to admit that she had taken the slimming "too far" as she discussed further her quest to get her figure back. She explained: "Then I was like, 'Well, I lost all the baby weight. Let’s see how far I can go with it. 'And then went a little too far."
Kelly went on to reveal that she had tried to keep a low profile during her pregnancy and "hid for nine months" in order to swerve any negativity. She previously posted sonogram pictures that only showed her face and when she was asked why she admitted that she hadn't wanted to be fat-shamed.
The Osbourne's star recently spoke about her appearance in further detail in an interview with the Daily Mail when she discussed rumours that she has had botox attributing the change in her face shape to her 85lb weight loss. She said: "Now that I’ve lost weight, everybody is criticising and trying to figure out what it is that I’ve done, and I really just lost some weight."
Kelly Osbourne admits leaving her son 'was one of the hardest things ever'Kelly has previously been open about undergoing cosmetic procedures including in 2020 when she talked about her gastric sleeve procedure stressing that she feels there is no "right way" to achieve your weight loss goals. She told Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on Hollywood Raw: "The road to happiness is different for everybody. I think that instead of picking apart the journey, they should just be happy that you reached your destination."
During the podcast the reality TV star also gave her take on maternity fashion and how Rihanna 's pregnancies have transformed the industry. She said: “You can wear so many things that weren’t considered appropriate before and then Rihanna changed it for everyone. Also, it made me sad because I didn’t get to show off my pregnancy belly because I literally was a f**king moose and it was embarrassing.”
Kelly isn't the only member of her family to have openly undergone or discussed cosmetic procedures in the past. Her mum Sharon Osbourne has addressed the subject many times. Meanwhile, her brother Jack Osbourne recently joked about how his mum goes in for a "tune-up" every 5,000 miles with Sharon laughing as she agreed "that's right. Everybody needs it."
