Fans praise Amanda Holden and Alan Carr's transformation of old €1 Italian flat
Fans glued to the work of Amanda Holden and Alan Carr on their transformation of a €1 Sicilian apartment have praised the dramatic transformation.
Amanda, 52, and Alan, 46, bought two flats for a Euro each and spent three months transforming them into one stunning holiday home.
The 1,300 square foot apartment is being marketed by the Italian arm of Sotheby’s, which describes the property as "stunning" and "the perfect getaway" - and fans could not agree more.
The dramatic transformation of the property was unveiled in the duo's BBC series Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job, with viewers rushing to social media to comment on the difference in the property.

Hitting the market for £127,500, when the fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad eventually sells for will be split between Comic Relief and Children in Need.

Over three months the pair knocked down walls, plastered, wallpapered and helped lay floors and tiles while choosing all the decor and furnishings.
Viewers saw the final result – named Casa Alamanda after both of them – and it is already on the market for sale.
On Rightmove, the listing references the "spacious lounge, dining room, and kitchen" and adds: "The three balconies offer breathtaking views of the landscape, making this the perfect spot to watch the sunset.
