X Factor's Frankie Cocozza unrecognisable as he goes topless by the beach
Frankie Cocozza has fans of The X Factor stunned with his dramatic transformation since appearing on the ITV reality show in 2011.
The singer rose to fame on its eighth series at the age of 18, after impressing judges Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa, and Gary Barlow at the live auditions with his edgy vocals and hilarious personality.
Frankie, who was a student at the time, chose to perform Valerie by Amy Winehouse, shortly after confessing he'd only entered the competition to 'get girls'. He also revealed he'd had the names of seven girls tattooed on his backside, much to the surprise of N-Dubz singer Tulisa.
Frankie made it through to the live shows but was infamously evicted from the competition in week 8 after breaking its rules. It was rumoured that the cheeky teen went too far with the partying behind-the-scenes, and he later acknowledged his life had "gotten out of control" during filming.
Frankie, who still works as a musician, now lives in Sydney, Australia with his four-year-old son, who is also named Frankie. The 30-year-old shares the adorable tot with his wife, Bianca, whom he married in 2018 after first meeting on Celebs Go Dating.
