GMB fans stunned over John Fury's angry outburst at KSI's message to son Tommy

John Fury sparked commotion on Friday's instalment of Good Morning Britain as he appeared on the show alongside his son Tommy Fury, who is gearing up to fight KSI next month in one of his biggest matches yet.

Speaking to hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, John, 59, became visibly annoyed when the presenters surprised him and Tommy with a personalised pre-recorded message from Tommy's opponent KSI, who real name is Olajide Olatunji.

After Kate quizzed Tommy on why he seemed unusually quiet and reserved during the early morning interview, Tommy's demeanor further changed when Kate revealed that KSI had recorded a special message for him, where he said that Tommy was 'dead meat' and warned his career will be 'over' after their fight.

While KSI's clip played out on the show, viewers at home were glued to Tommy and John's reactions as the father-son duo first burst out into laughter while listening to KSI's threats, but things turned heated when John shouted 'shut up' at the screen before embarking into a rant about KSI's signature hairstyle.

Following John's outburst, Good Morning Britain viewers flocked to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions as one viewer quipped: "Literally never a dull moment with John Fury. That man switches from 0 to 100 in seconds."

"John Fury is one of the most interesting men I have ever seen in the public. He's just 100% authentic and doesn't care what anyone thinks. I feel like it's rubbed off on Tommy. Quality viewing as always," another added. "OMG not John Fury screaming on Good Morning Britain!! Hahahahah this man," someone else tweeted.

YouTube star KSI will face Tommy Fury on October 14 at the AO Arena in Manchester, with the pair launching their fight in an event at Wembley Arena last month. And with the trash talk between both KSI and Fury and co-headliners Logan Paul and Dillon Danis heating up, Tommy's dad John took centre stage last month as he smashed up the set before the face-offs.

A few weeks after the memorable events of that day, which saw John flip over several tables and chairs during the conference, Tommy's father later explained he was tipped over the edge by a comment the YouTuber made about his son Tyson Fury's world heavyweight title situation.

KSI claimed his son wasn't interested in facing boxer Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed title, which is a common theory among fight fans. John became fed up with the insults being exchanged between KSI, Tommy, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis as he stood up to scream: "The Furys are the best fighters in the world."

"F*** all this s***. We're the only proper men on the island. Who wants to fight right now? Talking all this bull**** about people's personal b******, let's get this ball rolling," he added. John then pushed all the tables off stage as a scuffle broke out with security quickly forced to intervene.

He later issued a lengthy apology for his actions on Instagram as he said: "Good morning people, I just want to make a quick apology for my inappropriate language yesterday. It was unacceptable, I accept that, but emotions run high when we get involved and it is the fight game. It was pandemonium, but let me sincerely apologise for my outburst of language," he said.

"I wasn't alone in doing it but I want to come out and apologise because I feel it's appropriate to make that apology to the people who came to the press conference and the viewing audiences. I sincerely apologise and I'll try to improve but people, this is John Fury.

"This is my character, this is who I am. I'm a real person. I'm not a fake person, nothing is scripted. It just happens when it happens but again I apologise for my inappropriate language. If I have offended anybody, I'm deeply sorry. See you next time."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
