Love Island's Faye Winter moves on from Teddy as she 'cosies up to TOWIE star'

Single Faye Winter was spotted getting close to TOWIE ladies' man Pete Wicks at a boozy NTAs afterparty, it has been claimed.

Pete “had his hands all over Faye” and gave the blonde beauty a hug at the bash, after she ended things with Teddy Soares after 18 months together. It's reported that the pair looked “very cosy” as her wrapped his arms around the Love Island star while they stood chatting and having a drink.

They both attended the National Television Awards with their showbiz pals and weren't keen to call it a night when the cameras turned off, sticking around at the bash following the ceremony at the O2 Arena on Tuesday night.

Pete attended with bestie Sam Thompson and cut a smart figure in a salmon-coloured tux and a black bow tie while Faye wore an incredible silver mesh dress and since the NTA afterparty she moved to denied reports that she had an argument with fellow Islander Maura Higgins after it was alleged she threw her shoes at the Irish star.

The source revealed to OK! Magazine they got really close and said: “Faye and Pete looked very cosy as they chatted at the after party. Pete in particular had his hands all over Faye, which is no surprise as she had all eyes on her and looked incredible on the night. Pete seemed super interested in Faye and was seen wrapping his arms around her as they enjoyed a drink with Sam Thompson.”

Reports stated that Faye and Maura were involved in a heated exchange for over an hour at the event before a friend intervened to smooth things over. Maura hit back at the reports online and revealed that the Love Island duo were simply having a “passionate conversation” and that the two remained good friends with “no drama”.

Faye also put the rumours to bed and stated: “I mean she calls me a silly cow most days and she ain’t wrong [laughing face] and I can confirm no designer shoes were disrespected in the conversation.”

Former flames Faye and Teddy met and fell for one another in the 2021 series of Love Island and even moved in together shortly after the show wrapped. Things weren't to last between the pair as it was speculated the pair had gone their separate ways for weeks before Faye, 27, confirmed they had split back in late May.

She explained: "I think with any break-up and any grieving process, it comes in waves. You know, sometimes the sea is like a millpond and then all of a sudden there will be a big wave. There are still some days where I get really emotional, but it’s been easier to try and move on knowing there is full closure now."

Speaking earlier this summer, Faye said she dating is the furthest thing from her mind. She revealed: "I’m nowhere near in a position to be thinking about anybody else or even considering dating, but right now I’m still having waves of grief, but not every day, every couple of hours. It’s just one of those things, you’ve got to go through it. It’s hard to have somebody who you were so close to become just a stranger."
