She starred in Celebrity Big Brother alongside her world-famous daughter Jade Goody and is now in the spotlight once again after attending Tuesday night's eventful National Television Awards, but who exactly is Jackiey Budden?

Secretly watching grandson Bobby Brazier from the audience sidelines, the 66-year-old was reportedly overheard discussing her famous family after the Freddie Slater actor scooped the Rising Star award for his role in EastEnders.

The 20-year-old's speech was focused around his beloved dad, something that apparently didn't go down well with gran Jackiey. "This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my Dad," Bobby expressed at the NTAs.

But it was after his speech that, according to The Sun, Jackiey made her feelings clear, reportedly calling Jeff a "c**k". The outlet says one fan overheard her saying: "I'm so proud of him [Bobby]. He’s incredible. They didn’t know I was there. I didn’t allow them to know I was there. I didn’t want to see their dad. He’s a c**k. But I’m going to wait until they’re older before I let rip," she allegedly explained. Viewers will recognise Jackiey's late daughter Jade, but what has Budden done?

She has also spent some time in the limelight, appearing on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2007 where she entered the house alongside Jade and her partner Jack Tweed. She didn't for long and became the first person to be evicted from the house on day eight. After Jade's tragic death in 2009, aged just 27 from cervical cancer, Jackiey opened up about her bereavement as well as her life ever since. In 2014, Jackiey shared fears she'd lose her family home after claiming her debit card had been stolen.

In 2019, Jackiey appeared on the Channel 4 show Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain where she spoke about the moment that Freddie asked whether Jade had become an "angel". "He said: 'Nana I've been awake all night, I can't sleep. Is she mummy mummy or mummy angel?'," she revealed. "I said: 'She's mummy angel now', And he said: 'Can you tell her goodnight for me?'." She also detailed more emotion in a previous interview live on This Morning.

She said: "The hardest thing is, it doesn’t go away… and what I can’t get around, when she passed, I was the one who bathed, washed her and I get that flash back all the time." Only recently in 2022, she joined Bobby for a charity walk in Essex.
