Love Island winners Kai and Sanam snubbed from NTAs VIP seats with rest of cast
Love Island stars Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan appeared to have been snubbed at the National Television Awards - despite winning the show just six months ago.
The reality stars, who won the winter series of the ITV2 dating competition, had a fun filled evening at the biggest night in television on Tuesday. They both shared snaps from the night as Sanam stunned in a strapless red gown and Kai looked dapper in a black suit, bow tie and grey waistcoat.
However, Kai and Sanam were not sat with other celebs inside London's O2. The couple had seats around the edge of the arena, that looked down onto the red VIP area filled with ITV stars including Love Islanders and host Maya Jama. Summer series stars such as Molly Marsh, Zac Noble, Ella Thomas, Tyrique Hyde and winners Sammy Root and Jess Harding all bagged the much-desired floor seats.

Respect to the company that did show a pair of winners deserved love! Anyway, you 2 are amazing and blessed continue to win with each other." Another added: "Did they do the red carpet…can’t find any pictures ?" While someone else gushed: "A real life Disney prince and princess," and a fourth wrote: "Power couple."
Alongside her gorgeous snaps, Sanam wrote: "Major pinch me moment. I cannot even believe I am here today surrounded by so much talent. It’s an actual dream and it’s because of every single one of you who supported me and Kai! I will forever be grateful." Earlier this week, the loved-up couple had the perfect response for a disgusting racist who called them 'curry munchers'.

The reality stars share glimpses into their lives on Instagram and TikTok but it doesn't come without dealing with abusive messages and hateful trolls. After posting a video together, a racist troll took to the comment section to call them "curry munchers." Kai and Sanam took notice of the comment and responded to it with a clever but simple video. In the clip, Kai and Sanam sarcastically smiled at the camera as they tucked into a delicious meal of curry and rice. "You know what, [username]?" Kai said to the racist. "You're not wrong."
The couple nodded and made sounds of appreciation as they enjoyed their dinner. Fans loved how the duo handled the abusive message and rushed to the comment section to share their support, with one fan writing: "[Laughing face emojis] Impeccably handled. Love it and you both." ""STOP they are so iconic I love them," one impressed user said while another commented: "What a clap back [laughing face emoji] [clapping emojis]." One fan simply shared their love for the gorgeous couple, writing: "Love you guys. Best thing out of that series in years. Hope you are happy, healthy and keeping well."
