Love Island host Maya Jama beams as she's reunited with Islanders at NTAs bash
Maya Jama was spotted living it up on Tuesday evening, partying with the latest cast of Love Island stars just a few weeks after rekindling her relationship with rapper Stormzy.
The host of the ITV reality dating show joined former contestants Whitney Adebayo, Tyrique Hyde, Ella Thomson and more for some feel-good dancing at the National Television Awards 2023 last night, much to the delight of her fans.
The 29-year-old Love Island host arrived at the O2 Arena in London for the swish bash after its red carpet had wrapped up, wearing a gorgeous black dress and skyscraper strappy heels. Ella, 23, looked equally stunning in a salmon floor-length gown and chunky gold earrings. Whitney also upped the glamour factor, attending the NTAs in a halter neck emerald green dress with silver gems. The 25-year-old accessorised the sparkling ensemble with statement blue earrings and satin silver sandals for an effortlessly regal finish. Meanwhile, her beau Lochan Nowacki stepped out in a slick black suit.
In a video shared on Maya's TikTok, the radio DJ can be seen bopping to the rap tune Whitney and Tyrique created and performed in the villa. Islander Whitney lip syncs its lyrics and sips from a disposable cup in the clip. Ella, Tyrique and Lochan are also busting some moves as they merrily sing along in the background. The carefree performance received a positive response from Maya's fans.
Maya, who took over as Love Island presenter from Laura Whitmore last year, missed out on the chance to have a red carpet debut with her rumoured rekindled romance Stormzy on Tuesday over scheduling conflicts. The 30-year-old musician was on the other side of London at the Elle Style Awards in Clerkenwell, where he presented The Collective Award to winners Lemara Lindsay-Prince, Tallulah Lyons, Lydia Weigel.

"Maya and Stormzy have captured the public’s attention after they got back together," a source told the Sun, before adding that the pair has embarked on a 'modern-day fairytale.' It's understood that British Vogue would "love to get them to pose together for a cover" of an upcoming issue, which would also feature an interview about their high-profile romance.

The VIP couple broke up in 2019 following a four-year romance, leading to speculation that Stormzy had been unfaithful to the beloved TV personality. The London rapper later told GQ that the split, which was the first time he'd ever experienced a relationship breakdown, was 'heavy on my heart'.
"There was no plaque, there was no cheque that was going to come that was going to make me feel any better about how I felt," he admitted. Maya has also publicly commented on their relationship after the breakup, which sparked an outpouring of shocked reactions from Love Island fans.
"None of us really knew the level of importance it held to a certain group of people, us being together," she said. "We were both super ambitious. We were both from similar upbringings and we were both just little grafters that have made something good of ourselves," she said. "It was lovely when it was lovely, and then you move."
In 2021, Maya became engaged to Australian basketball player Ben Simmons, but broke off the relationship the following year. It didn't take long before she'd rekindled her romance with Stormzy, with one source claiming they had 'clicked again' after spending so long apart.
