Love Island's Hayley Hughes shares baby son's unusual four-letter name
Love Island star Hayley Hughes has finally revealed her son's name, much to the excitement of her devout online fanbase.
The 27-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share the moniker of her first child with her 753k followers, one week after announcing she'd given birth to a baby boy. It's understood that Hayley welcomed the adorable tot with mystery partner, singer Tom Zanetti, but she has yet to confirm the father's identity.
After much speculation over her baby son's name, Hayley revealed yesterday she had chosen to call the newborn 'Cody'. Of Irish origin, the two-syllable name means 'decent and helpful one' and was most popular with US parents in the early 1990s.
The update was accompanied by a carousal of photos of Cody, who was born on August 25, 2023. In one snap, the cherubic infant is shown wearing a white onesie monogrammed with his name, while in another, he is pictured in a mini bath robe with fluffy animal slippers.

Hayley Hughes welcomed her first child last month"All my dreams came true with you," Hayley captioned the heartfelt post, before adding, "You are everything & more. my cody." She then added a moon and a cloud emoji at the end of the caption. The ITV reality star re-shared the update on her Stories, writing, "Finally getting round to announcing my precious boys name. Can't believe he's mine."

Love Island fans were quick to respond to the news, with many taking to the comment section to share their reaction to Hayley's unususal name choice. "So beautiful congratulations my darling girl! Being a mummy is the best feeling in the world," one person wrote, while another said, "Such precious photos! Gorgeous name."
Hayley, who found fame on the season four of Love Island in 2018, announced she was pregnant in April, much to the delight of her adoring followers. She confirmed the exciting news with a snap of a positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound scan, as well as a picture of her growing bump. She also shared the following lyrics from Taylor Swift's hit song, Mine, "You are the best thing that's ever been mine", along with two polaroid prints announcing her pregnancy.
Hayley, who is originally from Liverpool, was dumped from the villa on Day 13 alongside Charlie Frederick after the couple were voted the least compatible by the public.
