Corrie star teases jaw-dropping episodes as heartbreaking discovery rocks street
Coronation Street star Ryan Early has promised some unmissable episodes are on the way, with a "shocking" betrayal about to unravel.
The actor, who plays newcomer Darren Vance on the ITV soap, teased explosive scenes that would rock Weatherfield across a series of episodes in the coming weeks. He promised viewers would see "heartbreaking" and "messy" scenes, as a huge secret comes to light and causes carnage for a number of characters.
It's been teased the big episodes will see a bombshell unfold "in real-time" as we see some characters make a shocking discovery, with fans of the soap witnessing one character in particular finally coming to a realisation about what has been going on behind his back. Darren is set to rumble his wife's affair with Aadi Alahan, just as his business venture with Aadi's dad Dev Alahan goes from strength to strength.
In upcoming episodes Weatherfield explodes, as the character uncovers his wife's cheating in the most brutal of ways, making for "an amazing" series of events. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, actor Ryan teased fans would see "shock" and heartbreak" and a "messy" aftermath, as Aadi and Courtney are exposed in scenes described to be "like a thriller".

You hear conversations and you feel Darren's brain whirring away and you see what's going on in all their different eyes, as there's a few characters it involves and it weaves around different characters on the Street.

"Over a period of episodes the spider's web gets tighter and tighter and it all starts to unravel. When it does unravel it's shocking for Darren and the ultimate betrayal, but it's also heartbreaking cos even though we're a new couple on the show, you can see we've been together for a long time so you see a genuine marriage breaking up and the aftermath of that.
"It's horrible because it's not like suddenly you hate the person, you love them but they are destroying you and you want to forgive them but can't, or maybe you can and then you start hurting each other, so it's messy." He went on, of the moment Darren finds out Aadi is Courtney's mystery fling: "He sees Aadi as young and innocent.
"He does not expect anything, it wouldn't have even crossed his mind. The shock… it's almost too much of a shock. It's so unexpected. He's not suspecting it so when it does come out, it's such an amazing episode when it does come out, it's the biggest shock but it's written so well, almost like a thriller."
Courtney and Aadi are finally rumbled (ITV)Ryan also discussed working with co-star and fellow Corrie newcomer Stephanie Davis, revealing they built a bond on the very first day after starting on the soap together. He told us of their friendship: "We met at 7am in the makeup room on the first morning, and we both looked at each other like, 'what?!' Very quickly it was like we'd known each other for years.
"She's down to Earth and unbelievably warm, and on that first day we held our little fingers together like let's look after each other, and we have done ever since. Our first shot was the two of us walking through the door of The Rovers so together we had a little moment before they called action, like this is it, let's make this good. It feels like we've known each other for years now."
