Cruz Beckham has been inked with a touching tribute to his mum's heydays in the Spice Girls, but it's not clear how the new tattoo will be perceived by Victoria. The 18-year-old unveiled his new ink on Instagram, sharing a black and white snap of the finished design.

In a sweet nod to his mum's career, Cruz has had 'Posh' etched just below his elbow on his arm, a reference to mum Victoria's nickname Posh Spice in the 90s girlband Spice Girls. He also got another tattoo, also seemingly for his family, which read 'Brotherhood'. Cruz had his first tattoo when he was 16, also showing off a butterfly design from a previous trip to Miami, USA, back in 2020. He's got a long way to catch up to his former football player dad David, who is thought to have more than 60 tattoos.

Cruz has seven, the same as his older brother Romeo. While eldest brother Brooklyn is thought to have more than 30. But it's Cruz's latest that his mum might not agree with, despite it being a sweet tribute to her 'Posh Spice' moniker.

The 49-year-old fashion designer spoke previously of her thoughts on the 'Posh' nickname, admitting she once 'distanced' herself from it. Now she'll have a life-long memory of the name as it's tattooed on her son's arm, but will she like it? Despite expressing some annoyance at the nickname, Victoria did previously reveal that it eventually grew on her and that it helped her 'find my style and confidence'. So she may eventually come round to the lad's touching tribute.

"Posh @cruzbeckham. I think we all get the vibe here don’t we? Thank you for the trust my g," his tattoo artist penned on Instagram. Victoria is yet to interact with the post and hasn't shared it or left any form of 'like' or comment.

Speaking previously about the Posh Spice name, Victoria explained: "I was given the name Posh in 1996 over lunch with Peter Loraine of Top of The Pops Magazine and the rest of the Spice Girls. I can't say it would have been my first choice, but ultimately grew into it on my own terms.

"I was young and shy, and being Posh helped me find my style and confidence, and my voice. After the Spice Girls I distanced myself from the nickname because it had unwavering momentum of its own. I wanted to find my own direction. Now, years later, I look back at the formative time with appreciation. Posh forever changed the course of my life, opening the door for me to go after my dreams."
