Romeo Beckham brought his social media followers along to his boozy birthday over the weekend, sharing pictures from the big celebrations as he turned 21 – but one of the Beckhams was noticeably missing. Dad David, mum Victoria and brother Cruz and sister Harper are seen together in pictures, alongside more friends and family.

Sharing snaps of her own, fashion designer Victoria called the bash a 'big night', uploading a carousel of pictures from the party. One image shows her and David hugging Romeo as the family appears to sit around a large table at the swanky venue. For his party, Romeo was seen wearing a sheer black shirt which he left open to expose his chest. He accessorised the look with silver necklaces as he smiled alongside friends and family members for photos.

Another shows the group sitting in front of a large projection screen, appearing to play a customised video for Romeo on his 21st birthday, aptly titled 'Romeo-21st_edit_06'. David is seen in snaps sporting a giant pair of black chunky Hollywood sunglasses, with contrasting bright orange lenses.

The family enjoyed two celebrations, one sit-down meal during the day, followed by the big party during the evening and night time. Romeo changed up his outfit for the second outing, both thought to have taken place in London. During the day he wore a leopard-print over-shirt with a white T-shirt underneath.

Both venues looked as luxurious as each other, with distinctive decor and fancy hanging ceiling lamps, appearing to take place at locations on a busy main street in the capital as daytime snaps reveal the view outside the venue, however, they are in stark contrast to what the Beckhams reportedly wanted.

Writing on Instagram, Victoria penned: "BIG night celebrating @romeobeckham Thank you to our incredible family and friends for travelling so far to share such a special birthday with us,we love you and appreciate your love and friendships." [sic]

Referencing Brooklyn's absence, she added: "I love u @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham we missed you @brooklynpeltzbeckham #harperseven x." Some fans took to the comment section to ask why he didn't attend.

"Why is Brooklyn never with them," probed one follower. While another slammed: "Can’t believe your son didn’t make the effort to be there." Switching the focus on the boys' ex-footy star dad, a third said: "David always looks so happy when he's with the family."

Sharing a birthday tribute of his own, featuring old archived family videos of Romeo, David wrote on his Instagram: "Happy 21st Birthday to my little man. Dad is so proud of the person that you have become, kind , generous and passionate about what you love , keep being you and dream big. we love u so much."

Seemingly replying to all of his family's posts and sharing a grid post of his own, Romeo wrote of the weekend's party: "Most beautiful night with my beautiful family love you all so much." It comes after the family booked Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds for the party – but the location was changed due to 'unfavourable weather conditions'.

Messages posted last week, seen by The Mirror, warned the Beckhams were considering changing the location to a London venue instead, as conditions threatened to turn the party into a washout. One source said: "The Beckham family love Soho Farmhouse.

"That was their first choice for Romeo’s party, which is going to be a really huge affair. But unfortunately, after they sent out all their save-the-dates, someone pointed out that the weather in the Cotswolds on their chosen date looked pretty horrendous. They quickly backtracked and asked all of their guests to not book accommodation in the area until they had reassessed their options."
