Suits cast's comments about working with Meghan Markle as revival rumours swirl
Meghan Markle was best known for her role on the legal drama Suits prior to her high-profile relationship with Prince Harry, having starred on the show for seven years.
The former actor, now 42, played paralegal Rachel Zane on the USA Network show, which aired from 2011 until 2019. Meghan didn't appear in the final two seasons, having left the show during its seventh season, which aired in 2018.
Suits is said to have experienced a resurgence in popularity recently, despite having ended almost four years ago. It's been attributed to the acclaimed show now being available on streaming platforms such as Netflix.
The possibility of a revival or reunion has been mentioned recently in light of the renewed interest in Suits. The show's executive producer Gene Klein teased the possibility last month, saying that he is "expecting a call at some point."
The show's creator and writer Aaron Korsh, 56, hasn't ruled out the possibility either, tweeting recently: "There is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works. Strike would have to end, some network or streamer would have to reach out and then we would have to collectively want to. Which is no small thing…"
Oprah Winfrey snubs Harry and Meghan as expert claims 'the tide has turned'Amid the discussions about a potential reunion, we've taken a look at what some Meghan's former colleagues have said about their experiences working with her. This includes her former on-screen husband and the show's creator.
Patrick J. Adams
Patrick J. Adams, now 42, played Meghan's on-screen love interest Mike Ross throughout her time on the show. He's been vocal in supporting her over the years and was among the former co-stars who attended her wedding in 2018.
Defending her against criticism at the time, he said in a post on social media in 2021: "From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued."
Asked if he would ever work with her again, Patrick told ExtraTV last year: "I would kill to work with Meghan again. I think she's y'know a huge talent and more than anything just the most motivated, driven human being I've ever met."
He told the outlet that he was "grateful for her influence in [his] life," saying that he was inspired by her interest in charitable causes and "wanting to give back". He teased that she encouraged him to find ways to be "helpful" as an actor.
Gina Torres
Gina Torres, now 54, starred as law firm partner Jessica Pearson on the show. Like her co-star Meghan, she left the show during the seventh season, though they had been colleagues since the first season prior to their departures.
The actor told Glamour magazine in 2019 that she was no longer in touch with Meghan but that she enjoyed working alongside her. The interview was published a year after Gina had attended her former co-star's wedding to Prince Harry.
Gina said that actors meet "hundreds of people" during their career and suggested they can't remain in contact with everyone. She said: "There are people you have immediate and incredible chemistry with that you align with throughout the years, that are sustainable relationships."
She added: "I enjoyed Meghan when we worked together." Gina said they had a "great time" and "bore witness to a great many things" in each other's lives. She however said they were in "very different places" in their lives and careers.
The actor wondered whether she would have enjoyed a "sustainable relationship" with Meghan in different circumstances, but suggested that she wouldn't. She said that they were on "such different trajectories" at the time.

When asked about her friendship with Meghan, she told the Today Show that the cast had become a "family." She said at the time: "We worked together for so many years. [...] We were with each other for longer than we went to college or high school with our friends, so we became family in a way."
Rick Hoffman
Rick Hoffman, now 53, is known for having played law firm partner Louis Litt on the USA Network show. Like several of his co-stars, he appeared on Suits from the first season until its last, so he worked with Meghan for a number of years.
Although he doesn't seem to have shared his experience working with her on the show, Rick has suggested that he has fond memories from that period of his life. He teased about such in a post shared on Instagram back in 2021.
The post included a photo of himself and Meghan seeming enjoying each other's company away from the set in Canada. Rick - who was a guest at her wedding - hinted that he reminiscing, writing in the caption: "Good ol' days."

The actor was complimentary about her whilst speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the time. He told the outlet: "Meghan is one of the sweetest, nicest, most intelligent, thoughtful human beings that I have ever met in my life."
Further discussing his experience, he said: "[She] went out of her way to always see how I was doing, to talk to me when we didn't have any scenes together, but we might just be on set at the same time. She is an amazing human being."
Aaron Korsh
It isn't just the cast who had spoken about their experiences working with Meghan, as the show's creator and writer Aaron has too. He's understood to have opened up about Meghan in a Q&A on his Twitter account back in 2021.
Asked what it was like working with her, he responded to a fan in a tweet on the platform by sharing: "Among other things, I loved Meghan's enthusiasm both on set and off. She brightened the mood wherever she was."
He further commented in the tweet at the time: "She would always write a note after reading the season opener and finale and it always made my day." Aaron then concluded by writing: "Among many other things that paints a picture."
