Miranda Kerr has announced she is pregnant with her fourth child - another boy.

The model, 40, already has three sons and excitedly revealed number four is on his way in a sweet social media snap.

In the image, she stood gazing down at her stomach as she caressed her little bump. She wore a cropped white vest top and light denim jeans as she showed off the slight bump while standing in a serene leafy environment.

She captioned the upload on Snapchat: "So excited to announce baby no. 4," she captioned the first shot. Shortly after she shared another, gushing: "And it's a boy."

In a third snap she sweetly uploaded four pairs of matching shoes all in the same style of yellow and white. Each pair had a building block in front of them with numbers one to four.

She contnued: "Flynn is madly in love with Hart. He really wanted a little baby brother so much. There hasn't been any jealousy or anything. It's been very sweet. And when Flynn walks in the room, Hart lights up like a light bulb."

Miranda and her Snap Inc CEO husband Evan Spiegel already share sons Myles, who turns four next month, and five-year-old Hart. Miranda, meanwhile, is also mum to son Flynn, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

Earlier this year Miranda gushed over the importance of family in an interview with Vogue Australia. In the chat, she said: "Family is my number-one priority, then work, then my company, which is like another baby, and then, unfortunately, my friends, but it's not going to be like that forever.

"I just love being a mother and I always wanted three boys, so I feel really blessed that I have three healthy boys."

The model first rose to fame aged just 13 when she won Dolly Magazine's modelling competition. She then become the first Victoria's Secret Angel in Australia in 2007.
