Katie Price says 'men are my destroyer' in heartbreaking marriage admission

Katie Price made a sad admission in a recent interview, claiming that therapy has led her to the realisation that men are the 'destroyer' in her life.

The former glamour model went back into her past and said her failed marriages were partly her own fault for being too 'impulsive' as she continues her search for 'Mr Perfect'. The mum-of-five went into detail about her current relationship with car salesman Carl Woods, insisting their romance was 'perfect', but she wanted more. Speaking to Jamie Laing on his Private Parts podcast, Katie explained her marriage woes.

"This is the trouble, and even with in therapy I've realised, men are my destroyer in life," she admitted. The Pricey has been previously married three times, first to her I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! co-star Peter Andre, second to cage-fighter Alex Reid and third, stripper Kieran Hayler.

"I just want that perfect... I'm such a family girl," Katie revealed. "I just want to be married, settled and get on with my career. But if you look at my past... they haven't really... and part of it's my fault, being impulsive and marrying... because I'm searching for that perfect... there's no such thing as perfect."

Detailing her relationship with Peter Andre, with whom she shares daughter Princess and son Junior, Katie added: "Me and Pete, it wasn't exactly a normal marriage. We were told when we could hold hands, everything was photographed and filmed, it wasn't really real was it?

"There was always a manager, always someone there... if it was a party, photoshoot or film... it just got exhausting. The second relationship I did on the rebound and then the third one I married five weeks of meeting him... didn't even know [him]. It was a rank idea. And I've just got destroyed by all of them."

Opening up about her on-off relationship with current fiancé Carl, Katie said: "With Carl, like it's perfect but then, I like to work... I'm very independent, I don't like someone not letting me work and stuff. So I don't know, it is what it is. I'm definitely not an addict for love, I just want to find someone where I can work, they work, don't ponce off me...

"Carl doesn't ponce off me... and where you can just go round your family's house for a roast on a Sunday, sit there or just go around B&Q and buy s**t because you just wanna buy s**t... or normal. I am normal, everything I do is normal, it's just... I suppose if I go to a theme park with the kids or something it is [aggravating], it is stressful," Katie insisted.
