Amanda Holden insists she won't cover up anytime soon after slamming Andrew Tate
Amanda Holden insists she doesn't see herself covering up 'anytime soon' after receiving cruel online criticism from Andrew Tate over her choice of clothing. The 52-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge said she will dress as she sees fitting, after finding herself embroiled in an argument with the controversial and outspoken social media influencer through his comments on X, formerly known as Twitter.
At the end of July, Holden posted a photo of herself sporting black two-piece bikini, glancing at the camera as she stoo below an outside shower. And it didn't take long for Tate, 36, to find his way into the comments section with a cruel jibe as he wrote: "You are a wife and a mother and youre far past a teenager. There is no need for this post." [sic]
And while she refrained from reacting to Tate, neither replying nor taking his comment down, she has opened up about her views on him in a recent interview with The Telegraph. When asked about the interaction, Holden, said: "Honestly, I had another shot of me in a bikini with just a close-up of my bum and I was tempted to post it with the caption: 'Kiss my 52-year-old arse'.
"But you just know something like that’s going to go on and on – and in the end, why give him the oxygen?"
The TV presenter would also go on to detail how she can't see herself covering up any time soon, no matter what the trolls say online with regards to her racy attire. When asked if she will change the way she dresses, she explained: "Absolutely not! I will always listen to myself first, because I dress for me – nobody else. So if you do one day see me dressed in a Victorian bathing suit, it’s because everything has dropped to the floor and I’ve decided, today is the day I’m going to start covering up."

Just last month, the celebrity took to Instagram to share a candid snap from the beaches of Italy's Forte dei Marmi.
In which, she slumped into a sun lounger with a cocktail in hand, sporting a pair of oversized shades alongside a lucrative orange two-piece and a beige netted shawl. And despite what Tate thinks, Holden's 2million online fans flooded the star with compliments.
Taking to the comments section, one, wrote: "The perfect shot doesn’t exi—," while another, added: "FABULOUS as ALWAYS." A third, went on: "Looks awful there. Stay strong," with a laughing emoji, while a fourth, echoed: "Gorgeous!"
