This February marks the start of a Six Nations like never before. With less than seven months before the World Cup kicks off in France, there are plenty of questions to be asked and answered this spring.

With the international scene in uproar after coach changes, player swapping and off-pitch drama, you could see the first draft of the World Cup as the Northern hemisphere get their last shot at perfecting their squads.

While Steve Borthwick takes the reins at England, Gregor Townsend seeks to discover the elusive answer to Scotland’s consistency issues. Meanwhile Wales welcome back Warren Gatland to try and fix things after a disastrous Autumn Nations Series. Ireland have a remarkable depth of talent to bring to bear which Andy Farrell will be looking to incorporate into his team.

And across the pond, France have it all to play for as both defending champions and the hosts of this year’s World Cup. The pressure is on Les Bleus, but they’re certain to entertain in typical French fashion.

Italy have struggled to compete internationally, but finished the 2022 Six Nations with a historic win over Wales in a remarkable upturn of form. Led by Edinburgh star Emilano Boffelli, 2023 might be the Azzurri's chance to break free from their position as perennial underdogs.
