Bali influencer in hiding after 'online stalker flies from UK to kidnap her'
An influencer says she has had to flee her home in Bali after a "deranged and delusional stalker" allegedly flew from the UK to find her.
Alexandra Saper, who has 102,000 Instagram followers, describes herself online as a "Bali-based world traveller", a "women's empowerment coach", and a "recovering lawyer".
But the 31-year-old recently shared a video explaining how she had to go into hiding around three weeks ago after an alleged stalker from Britain travelled there to track her down.
Alexandra wrote: "TW [trigger warning]: This is not the update I wish I was sharing but here we are.
"For about a year, I've been targeted by a deranged and delusional stalker who, in the last three weeks, has flown from the UK to Bali to find me."

Alexandra, who describes herself online as a "Bali-based world traveller"She said he had sent her "hundreds of emails and videos threatening, in graphic and disturbing detail, how he plans to kidnap her", and "more horrific things" that she didn't want to share on social media.
American Alexandra continued: "It has been sickening and terrifying."
Her alleged stalker has been described in local media reports as a man from the UK. He reportedly landed in Bali approximately three weeks ago to track her down.
In messages to Alexandra, published by The Mail, he allegedly says: "You make my body go absolutely crazy.
"I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you. If that includes kidnapping so be it.
"You've showed [sic] who I am in ways I never could have imagined. I'm quitting this...job tomorrow.
"I'm getting to that island as soon as I can. This process is out of control."

"Before you give advice and make suggestions, please know I'm still only sharing a fraction of the details here, and I've probably already tried whatever you think I should do next.
"I'm fortunate to be surrounded by so many amazing, honouring men who (along with the exceptional women in my life) have gone well out of their way to try to help me, support me, and protect me.

"I feel so lucky."
Local media reported that the alleged stalker addressed Alexandra in a video filmed in January, telling her: "I can get on that plane and I can come and shove you in my suitcase and kidnap yo ass.
"That belongs to me now. I can put you in a little Bali villa and you will become a Spartan queen."

The American influencer had been living in Bali, Indonesia, for the past five years (CEN)It was also reported that he sent her a photograph of a person zipping themselves inside a suitcase.
Alexandra went on: "I realise how privileged I am to have that kind of community, along with financial resources, this social platform, the luxury of being able to stay home, and the freedom to escape to somewhere else in the world where I know I won't be found.
"I'm extremely nervous to post this video. I know he will see it. I know there can be consequences for being this vocal about what's going on.
"But I also believe it would be irresponsible for me to stay silent and hide, when I have a platform and influence, and when I know there are women out there who've already been victimized or could become the next victim of this man, and other men like him."
Alexandra told local media that she had never met or corresponded with the alleged stalker in her life.
She ended her post, writing: "Sending you all lots of love and appreciation, from my peaceful little riverside bungalow somewhere in the world.
"I hope to have things back to 'normal' soon because I love my home and my friends and my job and my clients and Indonesia so much.
"In the meantime, I'm not taking for granted how good it feels to be able to sit at a cafe alone and not feel scared."
In a bizarre interview, the alleged stalker told local media: "I read this article she wrote and the way her energy and her intellect worked, it was like I wrote it.
"Now with me, I don't care what girls look like. I'm all about connection and inner world."
He claimed: "And because she never said 'no' or 'leave me alone' or 'I'm not interested', I mean, I don't give up because something is hard.
"This whole kidnap thing was a passing comment in an email, which was blown out of proportion."
Alexandra told local media that she believes the man is "seriously mentally ill".
She reported his threats to police in Badung Regency on February 1, but has expressed concerns over him remaining free to potentially harass her.
She told the New York Post: "I don’t experience fear or paranoia. I don’t have anxiety - and suddenly I’m having panic attacks, in terror of this guy watching me, following me, violating me or worse.
"I backpacked through East Africa and visited war zones on my own. This person has impacted me in a way that is foreign to me."
The travel blogger said she has also contacted both the US and UK embassies in Indonesia.
Investigations into the man's behaviour are believed to be ongoing.
Alexandra added: "I want him off the island, but he needs to be stopped and to get proper treatment for this delusion."
If convicted of stalking, the man faces up to four years behind bars and/or fine of up to IDR 200 million (£10,900).
