Samuel L. Jackson has specific clause added to all of his movie contracts

Samuel L. Jackson is one of most beloved actors in Hollywood with a string of huge blockbuster hits under his belt like Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1998), and Jurassic Park (1993).

So it's safe to say that pretty much everything Samuel touches (or acts in) turns to gold. But if you want to sign up the Hollywood icon to one of your movies, you'll have to be sure to incorporate a specific clause into his contract.

To cast Samuel in a movie he insists that the filmmakers must allow for time for him to indulge in his favourite hobby - golf. He opened up about the pastime in an interview with CNN a decade ago.

Opening up about his passion for golf to CNN's Living Golf, he said: "They have to let me play at least twice a week." He added: "Generally they either move me onto a golf course or I join a club so I can play there."

Jackson has played alongside some mega fellow celebs over the years, including the likes of Clint Eastwood and Don Cheadle but he shared that his favourite golfing partner was Tiger Woods.

He revealed: "The first time I played St. Andrews (in Scotland) I actually played with Tiger. That’s kind of a big deal. He continued: "The first time I met him I played with him at the Dunhill (Championship) and I think his advice to me was ‘Follow me’ – and I actually did. I didn’t hit the ball as far as he did but I kind of hit the same balls."

Jackson certainly isn't the only Hollywood superstar to have clauses written into his movie contracts. Keanu Reeves insists that movie studios don't digitally alter his face too much once he's filmed his parts.

Previously opening up to Variety, Keanu shared: "I don’t mind if someone takes a blink out during an edit. But early on, in the early 2000s, or it might have been the ’90s, I had a performance changed."

She continued: "They added a tear to my face, and I was just like, ‘Huh?!’ It was like, I don’t even have to be here." Keanu said the most frustrating part about it is "losing your agency".

Meanwhile, Rebel Wilson previously claimed Universal put a clause in her Pitch Perfect contract forbidding her from losing weight. Speaking on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, she claimed: "I did wait until Pitch Perfect seemed like it was over.

"I couldn’t lose a massive amount of weight because it was in the contracts for that movie. You can’t lose - I think it’s not more than 10 pounds or gain more than 10 pounds. You have to kind of stay at the weight. It’s in your contract."
