Samuel L. Jackson was far from impressed after missing out on a prestigious award at the 76th annual Tony Awards.

The 74-year-old had been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play following his performance in The Piano Lesson, which was his wife LaTanya Richardson's Broadway directorial debut.

However, the Pulp Fiction actor missed out on the award to Brandon Uranowitz, who starred in Leopoldstadt.

Samuel couldn't hide his disappointment after losing the Tony as he seemed to roll his eyes before clapping slowly, all of which was caught on camera.

Fans have been left in hysterics by his reaction and quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
