Pete Davidson spotted for first time since 'sacred' Chase Sui relationship ended
Pete Davidson was spotted driving around in his hometown of New York City. His outing comes just a week after confirmation of his split from Chase Sui Wonders.
The comedy star and Hollywood playboy beamed a bright smile from behind the wheel of his vintage car. He wore a casual white t-shirt with baggy pants. Plus, a pair of basic white trainers. Around his neck, he wore a hefty gold chain.
A fan stopped Pete for a photo. Still behind the wheel of his car, he grinned and threw up a peace sign. The fan hunched over next to the wheel and drew out his phone for a quick selfie.
About his breakup, a source told Us Weekly : "There's no bad blood or any hard feelings between them. Their relationship had simply run its course and they decided they just wanted different things."
Just a couple months prior, Chase had been reported to be Pete's rock through a serious mental health episode. He had checked himself in to a rehabilitation centre which his friend referred to as a "mental health break".
Pete Davidson looks very different with newly shaved head after loved-up getawayAn insider told Page Six : "Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it. He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him. He's taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues."
Pete has been open about his struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder. In the past, he's made light of the situation by making jokes about taking his medication and making candid statements on his health status.
In the past, Chase had called their relationship "sacred" and explained their communication style. She told Nylon Magazine previously: "We talk about everything and we are very open with each other about everything, and it feels like what's happening in our relationship is very sacred."
Unfortunately, though, what once seemed like a power couple relationship has gone down hill. While Pete is out of rehab, he is now coping with losing his girlfriend. His recent low profile outing, packed with gleaming smiles, may just indicate he'll be okay.
Pete also recently got into some trouble with the law and has a tarnished unofficial driving record. After crashing his car into a Beverly Hills home, he had to go to court. There, he was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service. Additionally, he apparently has to complete 12 hours at driving school, but nothing will go on his permanent record.
