Emmerdale Victor's true motive finally exposed as he's 'faking ill health'
Emmerdale fans are convinced they've finally rumbled Victor's true motive - and they're sure he's faking his ill health.
Victor- the father of vicar Charles Anderson and the ex-husband of Charles' mum Claudette - arrived in the village following his stint in prison. He seemed keen to reunite with his son and ex-wife, but Charles was less than happy to see him back and ordered him away.
During an emotional moment with his partner Manpreet, Charles explained what happened between his parents and how his childhood was violent. Since his release from prison, Victor has opened up to his son about his ill health, revealing he has an aneurysm.
In one scene, he collapses, leaving Claudette terrified to lose him twice, but some viewers of the ITV soap are convinced he could be conning the family and have accused him of faking his illness for his own gains.
Taking to Reddit to share their theory, one fan wrote: "In the last few months, I've watched Victor worming his way into the Anderson family, claiming to have a Brain Aneurysm. I recently watched him collapsed in the café, but never got checked at Doctors Surgery and wondered is he actually ill? It's a bit like Suki from EastEnders who faked a cancer illness when she first arrived in Walford, but she was in full health after all. I might think this could be the same outcome."
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessEmmerdale spoilers have revealed that Charles will try to flee the village next week when he's accused of a crime.
Manpreet Sharma ends up calling the police on Charles' father, but as he escapes the house, will he leave the village for good? It all kicks off when something goes missing at the house, and it soon rocks up in Victor's pocket. But will this lead to his exit?
Flo Wilson - who plays Claudette - says her character is completely convinced her ex has changed. She shared: "She loves him. He's always been her first and only love. No matter what, she took her marriage vows seriously and she just wants it to work. She wants to be a happily married woman with her husband, who obviously has a lot of flaws. She believes that he has changed."
