Michael Jordan has once again made it clear that he does not approve of his son's relationship with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa.

Michael's second son, Marcus, has now been with Larsa for almost a year after her breakup with long-term husband Scottie was finalised two years ago - with Michael not being pleased with his son.

He had already told the media that he does not approve of their relationship, with it now being suggested that he would not even go so far as to snub their wedding.

The two are reportedly planning their wedding with Marcus said to be ready to pop the question, and Larsa has publicly stated that she doubted the NBA legend would show up to the wedding.

Speaking on the rumours that they're engaged, Larsa said: "I had 100 calls and text messages - people congratulating us and I was like, I'm so excited. But no, we are not engaged."

And speaking to Marcus on their podcast when discussing a potential wedding, Larsa discussed them marrying on a reality TV show. She said: "Do you think you would have a wedding on a reality show? I don't think your parents would come."

Last month Michael was asked about whether he approved of his son's romance by paparazzi while leaving a Paris restaurant. After initially responding by shaking his head, when pressed again, Jordan doubled down by shouting: "No!".

Speaking on his father since entering a relationship with Larsa, Marcus said: "His goal has always been to stay clear of our relationship. Look, at the root of it all is my dad’s relationship with your ex, Scottie.

"Obviously, we never talk about that, and I don’t think my dad wanted to comment on that. There is always that narrative, that rumour that I’m dating you in some sort of way to get back at whatever was said.

"One of the things [Jordan] also said was you don’t need my approval in your personal life, insinuating that that’s something that we could say for us. But I feel like if we came out saying that then we look defiant and combative and forget everybody else, we’re just going to do our thing."

Larsa was married to Jordan's favourite NBA teammate, Scottie, for 24 years - and had been close friends with Michael and his wife for two decades.

However, Michael and Scottie have apparently not spoken since ESPN's The Last Dance was released, where the two aired out several grievances with one another back from their playing days with the Chicago Bulls - where they won six NBA championships together.
