Bill Murray and singer Kelis 'split' after 'whirlwind romance' this summer
It was just a summer fling for actor Bill Murray and singer-songwriter Kelis, who have reportedly broken up after a mere two months of dating.
The couple met sometime last year but got close in June, right around the time Kelis was on a summer festival tour, which took her to the Mighty Hoopla festival in Brockwell Park, South London.
Murray was seen backstage, bopping to the singer's set, according to reports. The twosome also stayed at the same hotel, where they started what would become a whirlwind romance.
The "Saturday Night Live" alum, 72, and the "Bossy" singer, 44, allegedly met following the death of Kelis' second husband, Mike Mora, in March 2022, but didn't start dating until this June.

They both have busy schedules, and after a whirlwind romance, decided to go their separate ways."
Speaking to The Sun, the source added that they "hope to remain friends" but will be focused on moving on with their lives. The "Ghostbusters" legend has six children with his two ex-wives. Jennifer Butler, who was married to Murray from 1997 to 2008, died two years ago at the beginning of 2021. The "Milkshake" singer has three kids of her own.
“They’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them,” the source shared, referencing the beginning of the couple's relationship. Another source said: "Whatever brought them together, they are both single and having fun despite the fairly big age gap."

She added in another reply that both her and Murray are "blessed, rich and happy," but beyond that, refused to officially comment on the relationship rumours that have been stirring the internet for months.
One interaction, which occurred under a post she made showcasing her stunning bikini-clad body at the beach, saw one user ask her: "Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?!?”
“lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all,” was her reply.
