Corrie Tyrone's biological dad 'sealed' after ITV soap drops 'new clue'

Coronation Street fans believe the identity of Tyrone Dobbs' biological dad is "sealed" after the hit ITV soap appeared to drop another clue on Wednesday's episode.

Soap watchers will recall that only recently, Tyrone's life was turned upside down after Cassandra 'Cassie' Plummer revealed she was his mum, claiming she doesn't know who his father is. Ever since, Tyrone has been trying to get to know his estranged mother and even sent daughters, Hope and Ruby, to stay with Fiz in Norfolk so Cassie could stay with him.

Soap watchers were already convinced that someone on the cobbles could be Tyrone's biological dad and this theory was cemented further on Wednesday night thanks to another apparent clue. Tyrone decided to cook a meal for Cassie but as he was "scared" he also invited best friend, Kevin Webster, and the latter's wife Abi.

Cassie was left confused over Tyrone inviting his friends to which the latter explained Kevin is "more like a dad", although joked if he asks, pretend he said "older brother". The comment didn't go unnoticed by fans, who were already convinced Kevin could be Tyrone's biological dad thanks to another clue last Friday.

Taking to social media, one person said: "Omg is Kevin going to be Tyrone’s father?! #corrie," a different account put: "#Corrie are definitely heading in the direction of Kevin being Tyrone’s dad!!", another follower wrote: "Why do I get the feeling that it’s going to come out that Kevin Webster is Tyrone’s father?!! #coronationstreet #Corrie" while a different soap watcher added: "Kevin is Tyrone’s dad I’m calling it! #Corrie."

It comes as last Friday's episode saw Tyrone send daughters, Hope and Ruby, to stay with Fiz in Norfolk. As Tyrone put the girls in a car outside with Kevin, Cassie came to the door to say her goodbyes. However, Kevin was left stunned to see Cassie as he said: "Is that your mum?" to which Tyrone replied: "Yeah". Kevin continued to stare at Cassie and fans noticed that it appeared he had seen a blast from his past.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Kevin looked like he knew Cassie, Tyrone's dad? #Corrie", a different account put: "Kevin is Tyrone’s dad #Corrie" with shocked emojis, another follower wrote: "Is Kevin Tyrone's dad? #corrie", a different fan said: "Kevin looked at Cassie for a long time, almost staring. Could he possibly be Ty's Dad? DNA test on the horizon?? #kevinwebster #cassieplummer #tyronedobbs" while another soap watcher added: "Kevin thought Tyrone's mother looked familiar.
