Bruce Willis' daughter has spoken of how she changed her baby's name due to a typo in a text in a shock revelation.

Back in April it was revealed that House Bunny actress Rumer, who is a daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, had welcomed her first child at the age of 34. Taking to social media to share the exciting baby news, the movie star and her partner Derek Richard Thomas welcomed baby Louetta Isley Thomas Willis on April 18, with the tot being born at home.

Alongside a photo of her baby, she wrote: "Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of".

But now it has been revealed that the now-35-year-old mother of one wasn't planning on naming her baby Louetta, with her admitting the name of her daughter actually came about after a typo in a text message. "We were thinking about the name Loretta, and it was a typo," Rumer revealed to People Magazine in a new interview.

She added: "Her dad and I were texting, and he left the 'R' out of Loretta, and it was just Louetta. I was like, 'Oh, I love that!' I feel like it was one of those kind of divine intervention universe moments, and we figured it out actually quite early in my pregnancy."

Elsewhere in the interview, Rumer spoke of being anxious over naming her child, with her revealing that she even found it somewhat "scary" as she ummed and ahhed over what the tot would be named, with her worrying that her daughter might not "look" like the name. "I fell in love with the name so much, so early on, that I was then worried that it wouldn't work," she added, before gushing over how versatile the name is and offering how she can "change it up" throughout her life and go as Lou, Etta or Louetta.

It was revealed last December that Rumer and her partner Derek were expecting a baby together. The exciting announcement was revealed by the star's famous mum Demi, who took to social media to share the sweet news.
