Peacock is set to produce an eagerly awaited spinoff series featuring ex-Islanders from all franchises. These former contestants will compete in adrenaline-fuelled physical challenges for the coveted title of number one.

Meanwhile, Maura, has admitted she believes she's the reason behind ITV bosses' recent ban on fake tan following her memorable stint on the show. Last year, Chloe Burrows, another ex-Islander, spilled the beans that the dating show's producers had put a stop to contestants bringing in fake tan and eyelash extensions during her season.

Speaking to Insider, Maura, revealed that fake tan was a staple in her luggage during her time on the show. "But I've heard they've banned fake tans, and I said to myself, 'Thank God that I did it when I was allowed. I caused the ban because I ruined everything in that villa, and I did not care. I’m an Irish girl, and I need my fake tan. It’s probably my fault.”
