Places to buy cheap Apple iPhone 14
Looking to upgrade your phone to an iPhone 14 but not too sure where to start? We’ve got you covered as a host of tech retailers launch some exceptional deals on this top-rated Apple handset.
The iPhone 14, 14 Plus, Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max devices were all unveiled last year at the brand's ‘Far Out’ event in California. They all feature a faster processor, improved camera, tough design and life-saving features such as Crash Detection which notifies the emergency services should you have an accident and are unable to make a call for help.
These are great devices but they could soon be overtaken by the rumoured iPhone 15 handset which looks set to be announced in just one day's time, this Tuesday, September 12. It may mean a lot of iPhone 14 users have their eyes peeled for details on the upcoming launch, but for those who are less fussed about getting the latest and greatest smartphone, it’s a chance to save some cash.

Tesco Mobile
- The supermarket retailer has dropped the iPhone 14 by £252
Shoppers can swap the food aisles for a huge discount on the Apple handset as it offers a huge £252 off the iPhone 14. The catch? It's only for those with clubcard points.
The biggest saving comes on the 100GB data deal which is reduced from an original £45.99 a month to £38.99 a month, a saving of £7 each month. All in all that comes to £252 across the full 36-month plan.
Other Apple deals we'd recommend taking a look at:
- Save £216 on the iPhone 14 with 25GB of data
- Get £324 off the iPhone 14 Pro Max
- A £306 saving on the iPhone 13 when paired with unlimited data
- Get £126 off the iPhone SE
Get £72 off with Sky Mobile

EE opens pre-order deals for new Samsung S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra
Sky Mobile has taken £72 off the iPhone 14 Pro, arguably the flashiest model in the series. This is all down to the provider dropping the price by just £2 a month, from an initial £34 to £32 a month. On top of this shoppers can grab double the amount of data in its newest data bargain, which is available on any new SIM plan.
Sky is well-known for offering price cuts on devices through its adjacent data deals, infact one of its biggest iPhone 14 price drops (which is now unavaiable) gave shoppers £360 off the iPhone 14 if they added the 80GB of data alongside the handset.
It is not known how long the £72 price drop on the iPhone 14 Pro will be around for, so shoppers should be quick.
£160 off with this Giffgaff deal
Get £160 off the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
Yes, we have another retailer which has slashed the price of the iPhone 14, as it cuts the outright price from £919 down to £759. For existing Giffgaff SIM customers this is a huge steal, you could simply walk away with the handset at this price.
The downside comes in if you don’t have a Giffgaff SIM, you can’t walk away with the model for the £759 price. Well, technically you could but you’d have to add a data deal.
This is where we get onto its cheapest £10 a month SIM which comes packed with 25GB of data. The same £160 discount is also available on the bigger iPhone 14 Plus handset.
Virgin Media and O2
- Get an iPhone 14 from £28.50 a month with six months free Apple TV+
Phone shoppers over at Virgin Media can get the iPhone 14 for £28.50 a month, one of the cheaper starting prices we've seen so far. This lower rate is on the 128GB model and comes with just 2GB of data - potentially not enough connectivity for most users, especially if you're active on social media.
The next data option is its 6GB plan which would bring the total (handset and data) to £29.50 a month, or there's the middle 15GB for £30.50 a month and the 50GB at £31.50 total a month. Users could also choose from its unlimited data plan which with the handsets comes to £45.50 a month.
Prices aside, all of Virgin Media's iPhone 14 plans come with a host of freebies, which is why it is on our list. Three months Apple TV+, three months free Apple Fitness+ or six months of free Disney+ are all available to add as an inclusive 'third-party' offer - so you won't pay a penny.
It's partner site O2, through MobilePhonesDirect, is also offering the handset for a competitive price. Shoppers here can buy the 128GB iPhone 14 for £30 a month with an upfront cost of £89. This comes with 160GB of data and is on a 24-month contract.
EE
- Get up to £288 off the iPhone 14 if you trade-in
EE's monthly plans on the iPhone 14 start at £51 a month, which is why we've left it to the end of our list. As one of the more expensive providers all of its pay-monthly plans on the handset also include an initial upfront cost too (ranging between £30 and £90).
Adding up the iPhone 14 with EE's 5GB of data would cost shoppers £51 a month for 24 months, with an upfront fee of £90. All in all, this works out to £1,314 total. It may be similar to O2's iPhone 14 plan but is almost non-comparable considering they offer 25GB as opposed to EE's 5GB amount for this price.
So it's safe to say the rival providers above are currently offering cheaper monthly rates, although we do know it's likely to fluctuate, so don't completely rule EE out.
In fact, it may be an option for those who have an older device to hand especially if you're willing to hand it in to get money off the iPhone 14. EE is currently offering up to £288 off the iPhone 14 for shoppers who trade in.
It seems only Apple handsets can be traded in on this particular iPhone 14 but it does range all the way back to the 2016 iPhone SE.
Now, let's get onto the deals for those who are just looking to buy the handset outright, with no data or SIM card.
Amazon
- Get the handset from Amazon £85 cheaper than Apple's price
The official Apple homepage listed on the online retailer is currently offering 10% off the iPhone 14, it's not the biggest price drop we've seen but pretty ideal considering you could get it on next-day delivery.
Amazon has dropped the price on the 128GB model from £849 down to £764, making it £85 cheaper than Apple's own outright price.
John Lewis
- Buy the iPhone for £764 and free Apple TV+ for three months
Now onto another retailer which is cheaper than Apple, infact John Lewis has listed the 128GB iPhone 14 at £764 too, the same price as Amazon. Which one you go for would entirely depend on your favourite retailer, maybe you have a gift card to spend?
John Lewis goes a step further with its deal, and it may just swing Amazon out of the running, with its free Apple TV+ subscription for three months. The high-street store is also selling the iPhone 13 from £604.
Rival retailer Currys has also listed the handset at the £764 price tag (again cheaper than Apple) but it's not offering any other perks.
