Jack Whitehall's pregnant girlfriend Roxy Horner has hit health woes just days before her due date, telling fans of her "excruciating" pain.

The model, who is eight months pregnant with her and the TV funnyman's first child, detailed her "agonising" pain in her third and final trimester. The 32-year-old explained she was suffering pelvic pain as a result of symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), leaving her "stressed" and "exhausted".

SPD is a "collection of uncomfortable symptoms caused by a stiffness of your pelvic joints or the joints moving unevenly in the pelvis", according to the NHS. Roxy revealed she'd been receiving lots of help from her mum Lisa Rae throughout her health woes in the run-up to welcoming her daughter with comedian Jack.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (August 21), Roxy, who suffered a devastating miscarriage last year, detailed her issues, telling followers she initially thought her pain "was normal". The model explained: "Thank god for my mumma looking after me during this final trimester. I actually don't know what I would have done without her.

"Getting everything baby ready with SPD has not been easy but my mumma has really helped me get things organised this last week and I'm starting to feel a bit more at ease with that. Just can't wait to have baby girl here and not feel this way anymore, it really is excruciating to walk or move right but not long to go and apparently all symptoms of SPD go away once bubba arrives."

Roxy explained she was using a pregnancy belt to help with the ordeal, sharing a black and white video of her ever-growing baby bump.

"Also I've only just got myself a pregnancy belt which has helped a lot with SPD," he penned. "I would highly recommend any pregnant woman getting one asap to help avoid getting pelvic pain

"I'm so grateful for my female followers! It seems a lot of you have also suffered from SPD and can relate. From what I've learnt so far if you are experiencing pain during pregnancy, get it checked out because I ignored mine for too long thinking that was just normal, I kept holding my tummy for support as it was agonising to walk and felt like bub could just fall out."

Roxy concluded: "Even sleeping is rough but I've been told the best thing to do with SPD is rest as much as possible, get a pregnancy support belt, pregnancy pillow, painkillers and see a physio! Hope that helps anyone else going through the same thing."

It comes after she revealed feeling "exhausted" earlier this month, previously telling fans her final trimester was proving to be "testing". Horner, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2021, admitted she was "counting my blessings" after "throwing up around eight times a day".

"Now I literally don't remember the last time I slept. Like I'm not kidding, I really don't. So yeah, pregnancy is difficult for some people and I am very envious of those who enjoy their pregnancy," she said.
