Pamela Anderson shares devastating reason behind her decision to go makeup-free
Pamela Anderson has made a living off her stunning looks and has become well-known for her over-the-top makeup.
The Baywatch star was always seen wearing heavy eyeliner and lipstick, using foundation to make her skin look flawless. However, she's cut back on her makeup use in recent years.
Now, Pamela is often seen embracing her natural complexion. In fact, she was recently seen going makeup-free as she went to a gardening shop in Malibu.
The 56-year-old old model has admitted there is actually a heartbreaking reason behind her decision to cut back on makeup. Back in 2019, her makeup artist Alexis Vogel sadly died after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup," she explained to Elle magazine.

The star admitted her new look has been "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious." She added: "I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain."
She told the publication that she has embraced her aging face. Pamela also said she is "in a good place" when it comes to her looks.

"I hated the way I looked, I hated everything. I was so shy, and I always thought everybody was pretty, and I just didn't have that confidence or self-confidence," she told ET Canada.
The model recently opened up about her life in her own documentary, Pamela, A Love Story. In the show, she also opened up about her career and past romances.
