Charlize Theron fumes 'b***h I'm just ageing' as she slams facelift claims
Charlize Theron clapped back at trolls after she was accused of having a facelift. The Hollywood star, who's best known for her roles in Mad Max, Fast X and Atomic Blonde spoke about having no fears of ageing and the work people think she's had done.
The 48-year-old explained that she hasn't had "bad plastic surgery" and that she's simply ageing after being in the film industry since she was 22-years-old. She rose to fame after starring in mystery thriller The Devil's Advocate with Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino.
“People think I had a facelift," she told Allure. "They’re like, ‘What did she do to her face?’ I’m like, ‘Bitch, I’m just ageing! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens.'
"My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and aging,” she continued before sharing that she hates the double standard “that men kind of age like fine wines and women like cut flowers," adding: "I despise that concept and I want to fight against it but I also think women want to age in a way that feels right to them. I think we need to be a little bit more empathetic to how we all go through our journey.”

When I was 27, I did ‘Monster.’ I lost 30 pounds, like, overnight. I missed three meals and I was back to my normal weight.”

It comes after the South-African actress stated that being a mother is better than having an Oscar. In 2021 amid her role as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family 2, she said: "I can tell they are quietly pretty chuffed their mum is Morticia. As a mum who, like all mothers, wants their kids to think she’s cool, it’s a feeling no Oscar can replace.”

She explained: “I’ve always made sure they know exactly who we were as a family, what we stand for and what our values are. Kindness and treating others in the way you want to be treated is how to go through life.”
