Samia Longchambon congratulated by Corrie stars over huge milestone with husband
Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon celebrated a huge milestone with her husband, posting a cute snap to commemorate the occasion, as her co-stars rushed to congratulate the pair.
The actress, best known for her role as Maria Connor in the ITV soap, took to her social media to gave an update on her relationship with husband Sylvain. The couple first met 10 years ago on Dancing On Ice in 2013. She posted a gorgeous pic of the happy couple enjoying cocktails together as they marked their seventh wedding anniversary.
Alongside the snaps, Samia wrote: "Last night was gorgeous.. the food, the drinks and especially the company .. deserves a square on the grid! Happy anniversary to us @slongchambon." They were soon flooded with comments as one said: "Happy anniversary guys X." Another added: "Happy Anniversary and what a day that was!!! Took me ages to get over it." "Awww happy anniversary to you both how gorgeous," wrote someone else. Co-star Tina O’Brien gushed: "Happy anniversary you gorgeous pair," and Leanne Battersby actress Jane Danson said: Happy Anniversary such lovely memories of a wonderful weekend."

Samia, who was already mum to Freya, welcomed son Yves with Sylvain in 2015 (Instagram)After meeting on the dance competition, the two quickly feel head over heels for each other. Their son, Yves, was born via C-section in September 2015, almost a year before they tied the knot. The soap actress shares 13-year-old Freya Smith with her ex-husband Matthew Smith. Freya, who was six at the time, walked Samia down the aisle. Samia previously said she believed her later father, who sadly died of cancer in 2009, was responsible for helping her find love with the French ice dancer.
During an appearance on Loose Women, she said: "I believe in angels and I always think my dad sent Sylvain to me." The family of four share a stunning home, which they have given fans a glimpse of over the years. The couple often share photos of themselves enjoying a family picnic with their beloved dog Ralf in their garden or having a cheeky glass of bubbly in the sunshine. There's plenty of room to try out a few skating lifts, with Sylvain once pictured raising Samia above his head as Ralf nibbled on a toy.

There's also enough space for the kids to run about and swings for them to play on. Next to the rattan furniture, there's a luxurious jaccuzzi that provides Samia and Sylvain for the opportunity to have a bit of alone time. Inside the home, the Corrie actress - who recently marked 20 years on the Cobbles - has opted for more muted tones with a grey pallette. The 41-year-old actress and 43-year-old skater’s family kitchen adheres to a neutral colour scheme alongside dark wood cupboards and stainless steel appliances.
Their kitchen is also home to an impressive island-turned breakfast bar, which allows the family to spend precious time together. In the family’s living room, a large L-shaped sofa can be spotted with an array of comfortable cushions. In the middle of the room, there is an old-fashioned style wooden coffee table topped with a candle. The family’s home also boasts a playroom, with Sylvain recently sharing a slew of pictures on Instagram of their kids safe haven, which was recently renovated. Captioning the post, he wrote: “Kids are really happy with their playroom makeover and we love our chill out family space!”
The designated kids area showcases wooden flooring and an expansive collection of toys, including a rocking horse and plenty of Playmobil characters and a farm for the kids to enjoy. They have personalised cushions in the lounge, which include two pillows with a stitch of the letter ’S’, as well as an ampersand symbol. The sweet couple have a timeless monochrome image of the iconic lift scene from Dirty Dancing hung up on the wall - with the pair even recreating that photo during their 2018 New Year’s Eve party.
