Chloe Burrows is looking for love after splitting with her Love Island ex Toby Aromolaran and the Celebs Go Dating star has revealed exactly what her former partner had to say about her signing up.

The Love Island stars met on the ITV dating show in 2021 before splitting a year after leaving the show together. Chloe and Toby came in second place behind series seven winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Speaking to The Mirror at the Celebs Go Dating launch event, Chloe revealed she spoke to Toby about signing up to the E4 series. She explained: "We were speaking, we were quite friendly and I told him about it. It wasn't a difficult conversation because we are friends.

"I know he said in an article recently that we don't speak but, we're not on bad terms. Out of respect, I did tell him and he was like, 'Do it.' I don't know if he was jumping for joy but, he knew."

Last month, Toby claimed he and ex Chloe were no longer on speaking terms. He told The Sun: "We were talking and then now we’re not talking. We’ve gone back to silence. I feel once you’ve lived with someone like that and got so deep in. It’s on her side that we’re not talking."

Meanwhile, opening up on why she wanted to take part in Celebs Go Dating, Chloe said: "I think it was important for me to find myself in this industry because with Toby I was known as a couple. I wanted to find myself and fall in love with myself again. Also, I've been on four dates in my whole life, I'd quite like to get married one day and I need a bit of help."
