Emergency crews rushed to Leasowe Avenue in Leeds following 999 calls at around 2.15pm on Saturday afternoon - with residents said to have been heard screaming as they watched in horror.

West Yorkshire Fire Service sent a crew from the city's fire station, but on arrival found the blaze had already been put out. The patient was treated at the scene by Yorkshire Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.

His current condition is unclear. Drone footage posted on Facebook group YappApp shows a police cordon in place, with multiple emergency vehicles at the scene.
