Alice Evans flaunts diamond ring after finding love following Ioan split
Alice Evans has sparked speculation she could be engaged after she showed off a huge diamond ring on her finger, which she said was given to her by one of her "favourite people in the world".
The 55-year-old 102 Dalmatians actress posted a selfie on her Instagram page to show off the sparkler, as she's seen with her hand in front of her face while the ring appears to be on her wedding finger.
In the snap Alice, who is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd, is sporting a smokey eye makeup look along with red lipstick.
As she posted the selfie to flaunt the jewellery on her Instagram page, she wrote in the caption: "One of the great benefits of being an accomplished multi-tasker is being able to selfie and pick one’s nose at the same time. Or so they say…." followed by a smiling emoji and the hashtag "#outtakes".
One follower was then quick to ask in the comments: "What’s that on your hand??", to which Alice responded: " It's a gift. From one of my favorite people in the world. I hope that person will notice.."
Chanelle Hayes posts tear-soaked selfies as she shares mental health battleAlice revealed she found love as she celebrated her 55th birthday as she shared pictures of herself with her daughters.
She wrote: "We had the BEST TIME EVER. Instagram won’t let me put in all the pics in one go. ( wisely, probably!) I am SO in love right now and cannot believe I only felt this level of intense love at 55. More info coming. Love you all for being so kind to me. I will never forget. I may sound cryptic but life has taught me ( at least on small measures) to be cautious. All will become clear. Love love love love you all."
It comes after Ioan was granted a major court win amid his bitter custody battle with Alice. The former husband and wife share daughters Ella, 13, and Elsie, nine, together.
The actor filed for divorce from Alice back in 2021 following the fallout of their dramatic split. The former couple met during the filming of 102 Dalmatians and were married for 13 years after they tied the knot in 2007. Ever since their split, they have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their children.
In recent court documents, Ioan continued to call his ex-wife a 'child abuser' and claimed she 'continued to inflict serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them.' He also claimed his ex-wife 'verbally abused and undermined' him in front of their children 'throughout their lives.' He previously made the same claims in a filing from June.
"Since January 2021, Alice has also encouraged and instructed them not to see me or communicate with me and she has made thousands of threatening and abusive communications to me and about me," he wrote in the declaration.
He went on to say that she has been refusing to bring their girls to therapy sessions despite it being an Order for the girls to attend. "Since separation, the girls have missed more therapy sessions than they have attended, and they have had multiple therapists," he said. Alice denied his claims in her declaration.
Judge Josh Freeman Stinn said: "The petitioner’s (Gruffudd) request for the appointment of a child custody evaluator is granted." Ioan and Alice weren't in attendance for the hearing.
In Ioan's court filing from earlier this month, he touched on their eldest daughter filing a restraining order request against him and his partner Bianca Wallace, which was denied. The teenager previously requested a restraining order for herself and her sister Elsie against the actress for five years.
Speaking about the restraining order request, he said: "I believe Alice has used and harmed Ella, and I believe Alice was the person behind Ella's actions and TRO/DVRO request." He concluded the Declaration by saying he believes "Alice's actions are child abuse and I am gravely concerned for our children." In the filing shared on MailOnline, Evans disagreed with the allegations of her causing their children "serious emotional harm".
