Kanye West 'became too much' for Kim Kardashian before messy divorce

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian once seemed like one of the greatest A-list power couples, before they headed for a very messy and very public divorce.

The end of their romance was marred by troubles, with Kim recently breaking down in tears as she reflected on their relationship. Now, a source has claimed the rapper became too much for Kim to handle as she also juggled parenthood and running her business empire.

Kim and Kanye, legally known as Ye, share four children together - North, 10, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and Psalm, four. The reality star also runs her own businesses, such as shapewear brand SKIMS, and is training to become a lawyer.

Speaking about the former couple, the source said: "It's no secret Ye is not the easiest person to be with, he's a huge personality, and even though Kim spent years with him he just became too much for her."

Following their split, Kim moved on with comedian Pete Davidson before calling time on their relationship last August. Kanye dated several women, including Julia Fox, before tying the knot with Bianca Censori in January.

The source said Kanye is now very happy after settling down with Bianca. "Bianca is incredibly patient, loving, and caring, and is all about Ye all the time, she's 100 percent in and has his back."

Speaking to The Sun, they added: "Kim was having to juggle life as a mother and wife while running her multiple businesses and dealing with Ye's outbursts, but Bianca can handle him in a way Kim couldn't in the end."

Kim recently opened up about her turbulent marriage to Kanye as she admitted she was "not okay". The reality star said the situation had taken an emotional toll on her.

Speaking to sister Khloe Kardashian in their Hulu show The Kardashians, Kim said: "I just can't," as she wiped away tears. "It’s so different from the person that I married. I’ll do anything to get that person back, that’s who I loved and that’s who I remember."

Kim and Kanye had been close friends before they first started dating. They got engaged in October 2013, before getting wed at Fort di Belvedere in Florence in May 2014. The famous pair cited "irreconcilable differences" in their divorce papers, and they both agreed to joint custody of their kids before their divorce was settled in November 2022.
