Proud parents Vernon Kay and Tess Daly celebrate daughter's A Level results
Proud parents Vernon Kay and Tess Daly have shared a rare snap of their daughter Phoebe, 18, as she got her A-level results.
The Strictly Come Dancing host posted the sweet snap on social media, as she and hubby Vernon treated their teenage daughter to a fancy night out, however Tess didn’t mention what grades Phoebe received. Posing underneath an extravagant floral ceiling at the Ivy Asia in Manchester’s Spinningfields, the doting mum and dad wrapped their arms around their daughter and had huge smiles on their faces.
“Good luck to everyone receiving their results today feeling like proud parents!” Tess captioned the picture. In the photo, Tess wore a floral dress teamed with a white leather bag, while Vernon looked dapper in an all-black outfit, while daughter Phoebe - who looked gorgeous in a black and white corset top - gazed adoringly at him.

Many of the TV star’s fans were stunned to discover she was mum to a teenager, and heaped praise on her youthful looks in the comments. “Bloody hell Tess and Vern you really don’t look old enough to have a mini me adult! Well done Phoebe,” one wrote.
“I can never tell if it’s your daughter or Tess’s sister! Such a handsome family (and talented),” another wrote, as a third chimed in: “Well done Phoebe.” Others sent messages of congratulations to the couple’s eldest daughter, with one commenting: “Beautiful daughter. I’m sure she’s had wonderful results for a fantastic future ahead.”

Tess’ famous friends, including her Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman and former contestant Stacey Dooley, left love heart emojis in the comments, while others noticed the adorable relationship between Phoebe and her dad. “Look how she’s looking at her dad with such love and adoration,” one wrote, as another commented on the stunning genes Tess and Vernon handed down to their kids. “Phoebe is so tall!” one wrote.
The famous couple, who wed in 2003, rarely share their daughters on social media, but earlier this year, Tess took to Instagram to share a sweet snap to mark Phoebe’s last ever day of school. “Well that’s a wrap and the school days are done, no more sports days & school shoes! As a parent it feels pretty monumental, we’re so proud of you Phoebe; here’s to the next chapter!” she captioned the emotional post.
The university hopeful recently let her hair down during a trip to Ibiza to celebrate turning 18 in June, and the father-daughter duo partied at a huge bash on the Balearic island after she completed all her A-level exams. “A proud moment to be able to take Phoebe to Ibiza and celebrate end of Alevels…What a party!!” he captioned a snap of them cosied up together.
