Love Island fans reckon they may have figures out which former stars will be joining the cast for the upcoming spin-off programme.

Cameras will roll into Fiji next month and the new series will reportedly feature contestants from the UK, US and Australian versions of the hit dating show. Speculation has been mounting about which villa favourites will jet out to take part in Love Island The Games, and fans reckon they've rumbled who will be packing their bags ahead of the September start.

We know it's nobody loved up, with those looking for a second chance at finding romance keen - and some believe they have worked out who they are, the DailyStar report. They've been doing some investigation with speculated that the ex-Islanders currently in Los Angeles could be meeting with the show's production team ahead of filming.

Series eight star Luca Bish is said to be one of the names in the frame, less than one year after he split with Gemma Owen following a three month romance. Series eight winner Davide Sanclimenti has also been linked with a ITV2 return. This year's favourite Scott van-der-Sluis is also in America, and has got tongues wagging.

Fans already missing their Love Island fix have been getting down to work on social media. Sharing their theories online, one wrote: "I presume Davide Luca and Scott are all going on #loveisland the games. But which women are going?" Another added: "As another added: "My thoughts too! No idea of the girls yet."

"Scott is deffo going on Love island games lol," speculated a fourth. While someone else agreed, writing: "Scott doesn’t have a manager yet. Said he will go back to football when everything settles down. He is definitely doing the #loveisland games. I bet Davide is too".

Maura Higgins has been in Fiji, but it seems like it's only to work on the social channels and behind the scenes content for the US version of the show. The Irish beauty wowed fans as she posed in a see-through dress as she looked to be having a great time preparing for the programme.

One person not appearing is season two and 10 star Kady McDermott, who revealed she turned down the opportunity to appear on the spin-off show. Speaking to Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks on their Staying Relevant podcast, the 27-year-old said: "I got asked to do Love Island The Games in September – I’ve had enough, I’m retired for the year. I’ll leave that one."

Although the original idea of Love Island began in the UK, it seems that the upcoming series will initially be shown in just the United States. The show will be produced in the US and will launch on the TV network Peacock, with no current plans yet announced for it to be broadcast in the UK.
