A mob of armed youths violently attack a man in the street outside the famous Guinness tourist attraction in Dublin.

Half a dozen youths wielding weapons - including bars and bats - chase the man down the street. They repeatedly strike the victim who tries to protect himself by holding up his arms. The man ends up covered in blood on the ground.

One onlooker says: "That's enough lads" before the hooded mob flees on foot. Another can be heard saying in the background: "You said it was a rough neighbourhood." The horror attack was filmed on a mobile phone by a shocked witness in a 24-second clip.

It is not known what triggered the violence. It happened less than 100 metres from the entrance to the Guinness Storehouse in the capital. A sign for parking for the attraction can be seen on the wall beside its famous logo. The brewery tour and museum is the most popular tourist draw in Dublin - attracting over one million visitors a year on average.

It comes a couple weeks after a dad's lifelong dream of visiting the Irish capital turned into a nightmare when he was attacked and badly beaten by a group of teens. They left him with such serious injuries he could be disabled for life.

Doctors say that Stephen Termini, 57, of Buffalo, remains in the hospital after he was jumped and brutally kicked and beaten by a group of violent juveniles after leaving his accommodation. The repeated kicks and punches to his body and his chest have damaged at least one eye so badly, medical professionals fear he may lose it.

Termini’s son, Mike Rizzuto, told the New York Post that he was devastated to hear about the attack and that his father often talked about their Irish heritage, dreaming of taking this trip for many years.

“Last time I spoke to him, he was saving up every penny, doing odd jobs to get over to Ireland,” Rizzuto told RTE. “He was talking about playing music in Ireland. That’s where he wanted to be, so it really sucks what happened to him.”

“My dad’s mother’s ashes were spread in Ireland in 2002, and he was unable to make it there at the time. His grandfather used to paint murals in Ireland,” Rizzuto said. “I’ve been raised with Irish heritage, which is very important to my dad.”
