Jake Paul will try and avenge his loss to Tommy Fury if an MMA rematch against Nate Diaz doesn't come to fruition.

YouTube boxer Paul suffered his first professional defeat at the hands of Love Island star Fury when they fought in February. A knockdown in the final round wasn't enough to secure the win for Paul as he lost a split decision on the night, but he has since returned to winning ways by beating UFC legend Diaz earlier this month.

'The Problem Child' is pushing for an MMA rematch against Diaz in his next fight but is also open to facing Fury if the fight can't be made. "I think the Tommy rematch is going to happen at some point, I put him down on the canvas and lost a split decision. He caught me at my worst and kudos to him. I needed the loss, it put me on a new track of having this insane amount of motivation and just being super locked in," Paul said on Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson.

"I wasn't that locked in before and I was trying to cut corners, you just can't do that in this sport. When you're beating everyone, putting them down on the canvas, winning knockout of the year and making $10 to $20million, you're kind of like 'Who's going to beat me?' and then you get beat."

Fury is set to take on Paul's bitter YouTube rival KSI next as they headline the Misfits Boxing 'Prime Card' in Manchester on October 14. The event will also feature the ring return of Paul's brother Logan as he takes on Conor McGregor's longtime training partner Dillon Danis, who hasn't fought in over four years.

Diaz parted ways with the UFC last September and Paul wants their MMA fight to take place in the PFL after he inked a deal with the promotion at the beginning of this year. Diaz is seemingly open to a rematch in the cage but his manager Zach Rosenfield has hinted it could take more than $10million to make the fight.

"I have the $10million offer for Nate to go the PFL and fight me in the cage," Paul added. "Yeah I'm down and he seems to be about it, I think since I beat his a** that he wants that get back. What happens when I go in and beat Nate at his own craft?"
