A-Level results freebies and discounts for students from Nando's to TGI Fridays
Students across the country are getting their A-Level results today and what better way to celebrate than with some freebies?
Results day is nerve-wracking for anyone - whether you plan to go to university or not. Whatever happens today, students should be proud of the hard work they have put into their studies this year and definitely deserve a treat.
Some of the UK's most popular chains are offering freebies and discounts to students today (August 17) and you can bag them by simply showing a copy of your results. Many of these offers will also be made available to students receiving their GCSE results on Thursday, August 24.
From Nando's to Frankie and Benny's to Bill's many will be spoilt for choice on where to go - here are just some of the deals that will be on offer for students this results day.
Nando's
Nando's is once again offering students a freebie this results day. This year, the Peri Peri chicken shop chain is offering a free quarter chicken or starter menu item when they show their student ID and results at the till. Results can be email, text or the paper version.

To qualify for the freebie, students will need to spend £7 either eating in or taking away. The offer is for both A-Level students and GCSE students.
TGI Fridays
TGI's is offering students 23% off their food bill when they show your results today and on August 24. Students will need to join the restaurant chain's Stripes Rewards loyalty programme to qualify for this discount. You can join the loyalty programme by downloading the TGI Fridays app.
Frankie and Benny's
For both A-Level and GCSE Result Days Frankie & Benny's will be offering students who show their exam results to a member of staff a free margherita pizza - a vegan and gluten free option is available - and a glass of coke of your choice. Extra toppings for your pizza will cost you however the pizza itself is usually worth £10.90 so you are making a good saving already.
Bill's
At Bill's, students can get a free dessert when a main course is ordered on both the A-Level and GCSE Results Day. Again to bag the freebie all you need to do is bring along your student ID and your results. You can't pick a "sharing" dessert but a triple chocolate brownie and banoffee pie sundae are among the options on offer.
Chiquito
Similarly to Frankie and Benny's Mexican chain Chiquito is offering a free portion of Garlic Tortilla Bread and a glass of Coke to students who show their exam results to a staff member on Results Day. Again, if you fancy some toppings to your garlic bread you will need to pay extra.
Bella Italia
Bella Italia are not offering a freebie but they are offering students 30% off their bill on both A-Level and GCSE results days. To get the discount, you'll need to enter your email address on their website here. You will also need to show your results to your server at the restaurant.
With Bella Italia offer, at least one adult main must be purchased to receive the offer and it is not valid on delivery, take away or click and collect. Sadly for some students, the offer is not available at Center Parcs sites, Edinburgh Hanover, Edinburgh Northbridge, Inverness or Portsmouth restaurants.
Wildwood
The Italian restaurant Wildwood is offering students a free pizza or pasta with a purchase this results day. All you need to do to claim the freebie is spend £7 in one of its restaurants. You can pick from a free garlic rosemary bread or a classic margherita or spaghetti pomodoro.
Like the other offers, you will have to show proof of age ID, plus your exam results. According to its terms and conditions, it is only available to those who dine in and only one offer can be claimed in a group of up to six people.
