'I gave my boyfriend a T-shirt with my face on it - now he wears it everywhere'
A woman who gave her boyfriend an anniversary T-shirt with pictures of her face on says he wears the quirky gift "everywhere."
Kenzie Greene, 19, surprised her boyfriend, Joseph Burrows, 21, with the gift for their two-year anniversary, capturing his reaction as he opened the custom bootleg inspired t-shirt - covered in pictures of her holding fish, with her name emblazoned at the top.
Joseph is passionate about fishing and Kenzie says he "loves it" when she joins him, so she knew he'd be a fan of the design. Kenzie says she didn't think Joseph would wear it all that often, but to her surprise he wears it "all the time".
After wearing it "every day" on their holiday to Kiawah Island, South Carolina, in July 2023, Kenzie says he even donned it for a visit to her parents' house - leaving her mum in hysterics. Kenzie, a social media coordinator, from Maryville Tennessee, US, said: "I thought he'd have a good reaction, but I was very pleasantly surprised that he had that good of a reaction.

He's a shy person in general so it's very funny that he wears it - it gets a reaction every time he puts it on. But he thinks it awesome when we go fishing together so I knew he'd like it."

After returning from their holiday, Joseph decided to surprise Kenzie's family with his new t-shirt. Kenzie said: "I got the idea to film it as he called me to say he was coming over. I thought I'd video just in case they had a reaction when they walked in and they absolutely loved it, especially my mum. I think my dad just didn't want my mum to get him one."
The t-shirt seems to have been a hit with Joseph's family too, with Kenzie saying his family think it's "hilarious". She added: "Everyone who sees it think it's hysterical. If you don't look too closely at it, it just looks like a normal t-shirt too which is really cool."

"I wear it every night before bed and sometimes I'll throw it on just for fun. My family were very confused at first, but when they realised it was Kenzie's pictures they thought it was hilarious. I definitely feel some pressure on future presents but now I realise anything is up for grabs gift giving wise and her birthday is coming up soon so my face may or may not be on the gift!"
