Is it worth it?

This year there are so many lovely beauty advent calendars to choose from, with Rituals, The Body Shop, and No7 being just a few, so why choose the Liz Earle offering? Our reviewer Lucy Addicott took a peek inside and has been thrilled with her new skincare routine courtesy of the 12-day festive offering.

She said: "When I first opened up the treasure trove of festive treats, I could instantly smell Liz Earle's signature spa-like scent, and that was before I had even unsealed any of the boxes within. Out of the 12 products in the calendar, there is a mix of mini and full-sized, with some of their most-loved formulas included, as well as skincare bits you might not have tried before.

"Coming in at less than £80, the Liz Earle 2023 Beauty Advent Calendar is one of the more affordable luxury options for this season and as just three of the products cost more individually than the entire advent calendar, I would say it is well worth the investment.

"There are some products that double up inside the calendar, such as two hand creams and two toners, but they do have different functions so that isn't too much of a bug-bear.

"By the end of the 12 days you will have a whole new skincare set, with a cleanser, toner, day and night moisturiser, and eye lotion, making it a brilliant option if you want to switch your usual routine up or you're not sure where to start with introducing one. I loved the scent of all the products included, as they smell really luxurious and give you a taste of spa-life from home."
