Love Island's Mitch admits he 'wanted to go home' after worst moment in villa
Love Island's Mitchel Taylor has revealed his worst ever moment in the villa, as he confessed he wanted the leave the show and go home.
The summer 2022 contestant ruffled feathers during his time in the Love Island villa and quickly recieved the nickname 'Messy Mitch'. He got swept up in multiple dramas during his time in the villa, and was part of the complicated love triangle with Ella B and Abi. Since leaving the show Mitch has confessed what his worst moment was.
Despite all his drama, the Sheffield hunk shared his worst moment came when he spent two weeks single. Things got so bad for Mitch, he threatened to leave the show. Speaking on Bambino Becky's YouTube channel, he revealed: "It got to a point where I got to a certain day and I took my mic off, got in the pool and said to Zach 'I am prepared to go home soon'."

"But after that and how I moved and how I got portrayed, girls had the ick when they came in. So girls were like 'no I don't want to get to know Mitch'."
To a surprised host, he added: "100 percent. I was on the backfoot. I could have certainly gone home that day. Every time I got to the dumping when it was like least favourite and the bottom three, I was like 'why am I not in that'. So it was a build up of every night. Because bear in mind for the first week I friend-zoned every girl but Molly, I am fighting a losing battle. So when I've been out they were like why don't you get to know these, my friends, and I was like nah. How I would ever turn around a friendship place that I was in was impossible."

He shared how his mates asked Jess to talk to him, but it didn't go too well as Mitch "pied her off twice at the start". "And then I came running back and Jess in the end turned out to be one of my best mates," he confessed. Since leaving the villa, Mitchel has appeared on several podcasts where he has retaliated against comments made by some of his fellow islanders - including two-time Love Island star, Kady McDermott.
Following on from the awkward Love Island reunion - which saw endless drama - Mitch hit back at Kady after she called him 'a superfan' in a recent interview, before accusing Kady of being 'fake' and having a secret boyfriend while in the villa. The two influencers have been at loggerheads after both being dumped from Series 10 of the ITV dating reality show last month, and it appears their back-and-forth squabbling is only getting worse as Kady has now cut all ties with Mitch by unfollowing him on all social media platforms.
Speaking on Heat Dates last week, Kady caused quite the stir when she labelled Mitch a 'Love Island superfan' and claimed that he "studied every series of Love Island" before landing the gig. The 27-year-old, who also appeared in Series 2, added: "He even said to me he wants to be a memorable character." Mitch, who was evicted from the villa just a day before the Love Island 2023 finale, didn't take kindly to Kady's harsh words. Speaking to ODE Entertainment, he accused the star of being 'fake' and alleged that she had a secret relationship whilst filming the show.
He also condemned the Celebs Go Dating star for her widespread slating of former contestants after leaving the show, adding, "She must be the first Islander to come off and mince everyone. I am known as 'Messy Mitch," he continued, before adding, "I should be doing what Kady's doing and all I'm doing right now is retaliating."
