EastEnders' Yolande 'hiding something' as character from past heads to Walford
EastEnders favourite Yolande Trueman is revealed to be hiding a secret from partner Patrick Trueman next week on the BBC soap.
New spoilers reveal that the character is hiding something, and soon a familiar face known to her will arrive in Walford with a demand. Yolande recently returned to Walford after six years away from the show.
She and ex-husband Patrick reunited in sweet scenes, after their split in 2008. Fans were thrilled for the pair, while Yolande confessed that just months ago, she had cheated on her partner Anton with Patrick. Anton found out and dumped her, kicking her out of their home.
But Anton is back next week, as he has an ultimatum for his partner. It all kicks off when Yolande and Patrick remain smitten, enjoying their reunion.
But it's clear Yolande is hiding something from everyone as she keeps avoiding a mystery phone call. Soon all becomes clear, as her ex Anton arrives at the café where he has it out with the couple. Soon a fight ensues between the two men as Yolande is mortified.

Back at the house, Anton pleads with Yolande to get back with him and move back to Birmingham. He tells her he is willing to forget what happened and about her fling with Patrick.

Yolande actress Angela Wynter recently revealed all about what brought Yolande back, and what her future may look like. Teasing whether her and Patrick would reunite for good, the actress spilled on her big comeback. She said: "It’s really nice. I love the character. I’m really pleased to get the chance to play her again. There’s so many new faces, but I have been welcomed back so wonderfully."
On reuniting with her co-star Rudolph Walker who plays Patrick, she added: "Heaven as usual. We have a lovely time filming, and I’m looking forward to exploring their relationship, especially as an older woman now. I’m looking forward to exploring seeing if they can grow old together, where the gentleness is, where the fragility is.
"It’s nice to show an older, loving and sometimes sassy couple growing older together. I’m interested in the family dynamic and how Yolande will fit into the family and the larger community outside the family. I don’t think she’s ever not had feelings for Patrick.
"I think she’s always loved him and thought she was going to greener pastures with Anton, but the greener pastures have failed her. She’s realising that Patrick is the true love of her life, and he loved her honestly and truly. So in older age, Yolande wants to rekindle that with someone she can actually count on."
