Prince George is now a confident 10-year-old royal who regularly accompanies his mum and dad - the Prince and Princess of Wales - on official duties.

The youngster, currently on his school holidays, is a pupil at Lambrook School in Berkshire, alongside his sister Princess Charlotte, ever since the family re-located from their home in London to Windsor, so they could be closer to the king. But before he enrolled at the prestigious school, George attended Thomas's in Battersea - a £17,600-a-year independent school - where he was treated like any of the other children.

The school had small classes, with only about 20 kids in each, but it turns out Prince George isn't the only royal in his. One of his classmates is actually a relative - little Maud Windsor. She's the eldest daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor, who is better known as Lord Freddie.

Lord Freddie's dad is Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen's cousin and you'll probably recognise little Maud's mum. Sophie Winkleman, who is also known as Lady Frederick Windsor, is a British actress, best known for playing Big Suze in Peep Show.

She's also appeared in The Palace and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and is the sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman. Little Maud was born in August 2013, just a month after George, and both children started at the Thomas's on the same day in September last year.

The couple married back in 2009 at the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court, south-west London. The Queen and Prince Charles were unable to attend the wedding, but it was still a starry event with lots of celebrity guests.
