Conor McGregor calls out YouTube star KSI for bare-knuckle boxing match
Conor McGregor has sensationally called out YouTube star KSI for a bare-knuckle boxing match after watching Anthony Joshua knockout Robert Helenius in London tonight.
The UFC legend was at ringside as a sponsor for Joshua's latest ring outing with his brand Forged Irish Stout, and was let into the ring after the fight where he was interviewed by host Ade Oladipo. McGregor's presence had fans in hysterics earlier in the day, but he again showed off his impressive microphone skills when he called out KSI for an unprecedented meeting.
Both men have crossed over into the boxing ring from other endeavours; KSI a YouTube star and chart-topping rapper while McGregor is an iconic MMA fighter. And now the Irishman has asked for the pair to meet in the squared circle under bare-knuckle rules.
"Greatness don't rush," McGregor said during his post-fight interview. "Joshua took his time, he landed a big heavy shot, I'm just happy Helenius got up. The fans should be grateful for the Finnish coming in, last minute replacement, no fear he gave a great performance, did himself proud and his team and I'm happy to see him get up.
"Big congrats to AJ, big congrats to Eddie, big congrats Forged Irish Stout, and I know your man KSI is in the crowd and he couldn't box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory. So if he wants to get in here I'll give him a final yoke, bare-knuckle if you want!"

KSI responded on Twitter by writing: "Good KO from AJ, shame Connor got him to drink that filth kmt [kiss my teeth]. Lmao [Laughing my a** off] just seen this. Jake Paul must be crying that I’ve got Connor on my d*** already and I didn’t even have to fight an MMA fighter."

KSI was indeed in attendance to support London Shootfighters teammate Derek Chisora, who slogged to a decision win over Gerald Washington in the co-feature. He is currently preparing to face Tommy Fury on October 14, with McGregor expected to be in attendance to corner teammate Dillon Danis in the co-main event against Logan Paul.
After his promo, McGregor was seen on camera calling KSI a "b****," to which Joshua responded "that's my guy!" Speaking with Mirror Fighting after the fact, KSI's manager confirmed that he has accepted McGregor's challenge, saying in a statement: "After KSI batters Fury, he’s coming to end Connor once and for all!"
