Inside Line of Duty's Vicky McClure's wedding to fiancé Jonny Owen with co-stars
Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure walked down the aisle to say 'I do' to her long-time partner Jonny Owen this week. The 40-year-old was surrounded by her co-stars as she got married in a gorgeous flowing gown.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share snaps of her wedding day with her 732,000 followers. The This Is England actress looked over the moon as she rocked an off-the-shoulder flowing white gown with lace detailing, white high heel shows and elegant make-up.
Vicky, who tied the knot with Jonny in Nottingham, simply captioned the post: "Tied up in Notts!!! Best. Day. Ever!!!!!" as she tagged her new husband. Line Of Duty stars Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar were among the star-studded guests at the couple's special day.

She was joined by her Line Of Duty co-stars (Instagram/ @vicky.mcclure)Jonny's radio host daughter Katie Owen, DI Matthew 'Dot' Cottan actor Craig Parkinson, football manager Rob Page, Everton manager Sean Dyche, TV presenter Paddy McGuinness and the couple's proud family were among the people at the star-studded event.
One snap showed Vicky smiling as she posed for pictures with her family while another had the happy couple beaming with joy as they took snaps as newlyweds. Vicky also shared a picture of her and Jonny having a blast at their first dance in front of a stage of singers. Their wedding party had incredible food including a table covered in doughnuts, Victoria sponge cakes and endless Yorkshire tea for the guests to enjoy.

Martin Compston shared a snap of her drinking a Red Stripe as she enjoyed her special day (Instagram)Vicky's co-star Martin posted a few snaps from the event, including one of Vicky necking a can of Red Stripe and many selfies of the gang wearing prop police hats. "Incredible day in Notts celebrating the best of people @vicky.mcclure and @jonathanowen71 nuptials," he wrote. "First dance with the dementia choir was just beautiful and says everything about the two of them sharing their moment with the dementia team. A few shandies were had afterwards."
Vicky and Jonny met 11 years ago while filming a movie he wrote and directed called Svengali. The two spoke for the first time on the phone before they even had the chance to meet. She immediately knew he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
News site Nation Cymru reported her as saying on BBC Radio Wales: “When we first spoke it was on the phone. I came off the phone and I just knew. I’ve never loved anyone more than I’ve loved Jonny.”
Jonny felt the same way and talked about their connection with his daughter Katie. "I remember we were walking down Southbank (in London) on a weekend break from filming (Svengali) and we were going to the Tate Modern and she turned to me and asked me if I fancied going to the pub instead," he said.
"And I was like, well, yeah! I thought, ‘What a girl’. I think we almost simultaneously both went, ‘I fancy you!’ It just tumbled from there and we haven’t been apart since that moment. I was going through a divorce at the time and I’d been separated for seven or eight months. I think we went from ‘I like you’ in the pub to ‘I love you’ in about 10 seconds.”
